Once, around the age of five when Lucky's mother came with him to receive Mehmood at the airport, Lucky didn't recognize his father and on seeing him said, "He's the film comedian Mehmood!" Lucky Ali lived away from his family in a boarding school up in the foothills of the Himalayas in Mussoorie. Lucky's tryst with marijuana led Mehmood to write the script of the movie Dushman Duniya Ka (Enemy of the World).[3] The movie stars Ali's youngest brother,Manzoor. It is the story of the drug abuse of a young man called Lucky. In the end the young man kills his mother, destroys everything around him and is then killed by his father.

The lyrics to Lucky Ali's song Ek Pai Ka Jeena speak to the fleeting nature of life and the importance of love and connection. The song starts off by acknowledging the brevity of life, stating that we only have one moment to live, and questions the point of material possessions when we can't take them with us. The lyrics then segue into a celebration of love and connection, stating that even though we came into this world empty-handed, we will leave with the sweet words of love exchanged between us. The chorus encourages the listener to keep singing and to keep celebrating life, even in the face of struggles and challenges.
The second verse of the song speaks to the power of dreams and aspirations, stating that everyone has a dream and a hope for something or someone to call their own. The lyrics describe the uniqueness of the beloved, stating that they have a special place in the heart and that the lips long for their touch. The song then moves to a place of questioning the nature of happiness, describing it as a fleeting thing, sometimes elusive and hard to find. However, the lyrics encourage the listener to not be discouraged by this and to instead find the joy in the friendships and connections they have made.
Overall, Ek Pai Ka Jeena is a song with a message of love, connection, and celebration of life. It speaks to the fleeting nature of our time on Earth and encourages us to focus on the things that truly matter, such as love, relationships, and connection with others.
