Ha sido merecedor de discos de Oro y Platino por las ventas internacionales de sus canciones. A ganado en cuatro ocasiones el “Ascap Awards” premio que otorga la sociedad de Autores y Compositores de los Estados Unidos, a las canciones más exitosas de cada año.
