Her interest in music sparked during her childhood when she played around with the piano in her living room. She had a fondness for pop icons like Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears. However, her exposure to Evanescence, introduced her to the world of bands and sparked her interest in various genres, ranging from classical and Western pop to R&B, game music, electronic, jazz, and rock, drawing influences from anything with captivating melodies.
Luiza started her music career as the vocalist of the pop rock band The Winking Owl, which formed in 2010. Her joining in the band occurred in a serendipitous manner, as she was invited by Yoma, the band's founding guitarist. They had played together in their high school light music club, but lost contact when Yoma went to study music in the United States. Although Luiza hadn't been actively involved in music activities at the time, the offer presented a promising opportunity, and she decided to give it a try, eventually becoming an integral part of the band's journey.
The Winking Owl experienced significant milestones, including a major debut in 2015, and gained valuable experience through nationwide tours and live performances overseas. However, the band went on an indefinite hiatus following Luiza's departure on July 15, 2020. The decision was announced on the band's official website due to differences in direction. After careful consideration, each member, along with the staff, came to the conclusion to put the band on hiatus.
Since the hiatus, Luiza embarked on a solo career. In 2020, she contributed the ending theme "Only Wish" for the anime "Date A Bullet: Dead or Bullet." On April 6, 2021, she made her debut as a singer-songwriter and released her first single, "Loveless."
Subsequently, she released her second single, "Over My Scars," on July 6, 2021, followed by her third single, "S O U N D," on August 14, 2021. On December 7, 2021, she released her fourth single, "CALLING," and continued to captivate audiences with her fifth single, "HONEY DAYS (GONE TOO SOON)," released on April 6, 2022.

AMBOS
É só seguir então o tijolinho
Que a gente vê onde é que isso vai dar
A estrada é grande pra quem tá sozinho
Com você junto, ela há de se encurtar
In these lyrics from Luiza's song "Estrada," the characters MAMULENGO and AMBOS are engaged in a conversation about finding a magical place called O Mágico Di Ó. MAMULENGO seems curious about the location of this place and asks for directions, to which AMBOS responds by suggesting that they should follow the trail of bricks to discover where it leads. This imagery of following a trail of bricks suggests a sense of guidance or a path to follow towards their destination, indicating a sense of direction and purpose in their journey.
The lyrics then shift to a reflection on the significance of the road or path that they are traveling on. The line "A estrada é grande pra quem tá sozinho" (The road is long for those who are alone) conveys a sense of isolation and difficulty that one might face when journeying alone. However, the following line "Com você junto, ela há de se encurtar" (With you by my side, it will seem shorter) highlights the idea that having someone to accompany you on the journey can make the road seem less daunting and the distance more manageable. This speaks to the importance of companionship and support in facing life's challenges.
The theme of companionship and unity is further emphasized in these lyrics, as AMBOS seems to be reassuring MAMULENGO that they are not alone in this journey. By expressing that the road will seem shorter with them together, AMBOS is highlighting the power of solidarity and the shared experience of traveling alongside someone who cares about you. This sentiment suggests that facing the unknown or embarking on a new adventure is made easier and more enjoyable when shared with a companion.
Overall, these lyrics from Luiza's song "Estrada" convey a message of camaraderie, support, and shared experiences in the journey of life. The imagery of the road, the sense of direction provided by following a trail, and the significance of having a companion to travel with all come together to create a poignant reflection on the importance of connection and companionship in navigating the twists and turns of life's journey.
