Lukas first ventured onto the music scene with two Canadian bands, Cleavage (1995-2005) and Rise Electric (2005-2006), which helped prepare him for what was to come. He entered and won the competition television show Rock Star: Supernova (2006) which earned him front man status with Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Jason Newsted (Metallica), and Gilby Clark (Guns N' Roses). Their band Rock Star Supernova completed an album and a world tour of the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Following the tour, Lukas returned to Los Angeles and began writing and recording new music. The Love and Lust EP (June 2007) was released and he completed the solo acoustic Love and Lust Tour, making over two dozen stops throughout the United States and Canada. The new material was well-received by fans, and the band Stars Down was born (2008-present). After touring with his new band, Lukas began playing local gigs at such southern California hot spots as The Roxy, The Key Club, The Mint, and Viper Room.
The year 2010 kicked off with a mini East Coast tour and Lukas working on his first full length album. Hollywood was released (July 2010) and debuted live at West Hollywood’s famous Viper Room. The all acoustic Hollywood Stripped followed (August 2010). After moving to Nashville, in addition to local and out-of-town gigs, he wrote, recorded, produced, and released six additional recordings. The first three were Seed EP (December 2010), Story Teller (January 2011), and Super, Sex, Magic (February 2011). He also co-wrote, provided vocals, and recorded several music videos for a side-project, Switchblade Glory (April 2011). Lukas released Prophecy (November 2011) and Christmas Collection (December 2011) to complete a very busy year. But he wasn’t finished, releasing the album 8 Days (April 2012) soon after.
Lukas has appeared on many media outlets, including performing live at the 2006 Gemini awards, the CBS television series Rock Star: Supernova (18 million viewers worldwide), Ellen, Regis & Kelly, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Entertainment Tonight, The Howard Stern Show, and ET Canada.
In addition to his vocal talent, Lukas plays multiple instruments, is a songwriter, producer, actor, and vocal instructor. He currently resides with his wife Kendra in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lukas Rossi Lyrics

Is your the satellite in my life
Lost inside your eyes
The vision never dies... oh
Oh Just take my hand
We'll float in never land
Then I hear you say
Why don't you just make up your mind
You make my head spin
You make my head spin
Why, why do you..
You make my head spin
You make my head spin
Why, why..
You love to build me up
Just to tear me down
(oh but why)
Wouldn't it be nice
If we find paradise someday..
Then I hear you say
Let's live for the moment this time
Why don't you just make up your mind
You make my head spin
You make my head spin
Why, why do you?
You make my head spin
You make my head spin
Why, why
Did I hear you say
You wanna be alone
Was it some mistake
How would we ever know
I can hear you scream at me
Scream at me..
I'm not perfect
I'm not perfect
No one is
I'm not perfect
I'm not perfect!
No!
You make my head spin
You make my head spin
Why, why do you?
You make my head spin
You make my head spin
Did I ever mean something..
Did I ever mean something to you?
The song Headspin by Lukas Rossi is about the complicated relationship between two people. The singer talks about the person they are in love with and how they have lost themselves in that love, hence the metaphor of the person being the satellite in their life. The vision of that person never dies in their mind and they want to forever hold their hand and float away. However, the relationship seems to be a rollercoaster as the person they love goes from building them up to tearing them down. The singer suggests that it would be nice to find paradise someday, where they can be happy together.
The person in the relationship seems to be confused and indecisive, telling the singer to live for the moment but also wanting to be alone. The singer is left wondering if they ever meant something to the person they love, and this creates a sense of insecurity and vulnerability. The chorus repeats the line "You make my head spin" which could be interpreted as the ups and downs of the relationship causing emotional turmoil for the singer. In the end, the singer acknowledges that they are not perfect but questions if they ever mattered to the person they love.

Thank you for such a sincere song. It's a pleasure to listen to real rock music when the world adores hip-hop and fast food music having no guitar parts within.

You had me at satellite. All we are is space dust drifting until we find that one someday hopefully. A satellite entering and leaving our view of the sky we have today maybe as a ghost or maybe as a physical being. You come and go again. Thank you so much for this. I have listened to this year after year since the first time I’ve heard this. Bless you my friend.
