With the release of Rumour, Lunik started as a trip-hop group and evolved (some say de-volved) to a more melodic pop outfit in the early 2000s.
Jaël became known in wider audiences after her appearance on Delerium's single "After All", taken from their 2003 album "Chimera" as well as Mich Gerber's single Your Remain in 2004.
In 2013, it was announced that the band would split up after releasing the album Encore, featuring some unreleased tracks and live versions. Jaël stated in an interview that the reason of the split was that "everything had been said (what the members wanted to express together)" and the band members "didn't have fun anymore" playing together.

Lunik Lyrics

born before the day got its name
That air is raw 'cross the mountains
borrow the coldness of the rain
Listen to the stars
I'm lying on the dark green grass
Listen
Zoom in the sky - Zoom out yesterday
Zoom in the sky - Zoom out yesterday
The lyrics of Lunik's song "Zoom" present a feeling of introspection and reflection. The opening lines of the song, "That air is raw 'cross the mountains, born before the day got its name, That air is raw 'cross the mountains, borrow the coldness of the rain" give the impression that the singer is experiencing a sense of rugged, wild nature, with the air being raw or untamed, as if it has not yet been tamed or influenced by any human activity. This idea of raw, untamed nature is reinforced by the metaphor of borrowing the coldness of the rain, as if the environment itself is lending its energy or vitality to the singer's reflection.
In the latter half of the song, the singer encourages the listener to "Zoom in the sky - Zoom out yesterday," suggesting that they look to the vastness of space and the future rather than dwelling on the past or present. The repeated use of "zoom" creates an atmosphere of focusing in on a particular point or perspective, possibly indicating the singer's attempt to gain clarity from their reflection.
Overall, Lunik's "Zoom" presents a powerful sentiment of introspection, a call to look deeply within oneself and seek clarity amidst the raw, untamed energy of nature.
