I was a teenager in the 1980s and grew up listening to bands like Motley Crue. There was a definite vibe about those years. We used to smoke behind the sports building and drink Bud or Schlitz on a friday night..........Man I miss those times!

I was 10 years old when this album dropped and I remember going to the park listening to this while walking with our fisher Boom boxes thinking we were bad asses and we were lol Id meet the Homies and we would be smoking dirt weed and drinking colt 45 😂 I only needed 2 hits and a few chugs off the tall can and I was lit quick now fast forward 10 years and I was smoking crazy amount of INDO weed and drinking st ids, OE, Mickeys (my fav) man I miss being a kid so many great memories! Love this song ...I’m 45 and was caught red handed with my friend Teddy “Smokin in the Boys Room” by our principal in a college prep Catholic high school. I’ll never forget it. Our principal was a good guy and he was so freakin pissed and disappointed in us that we were smoking. We only had to do 1 Saturday detention and the impact of it all remains with me today. Relative to the normal terms of punishment for that we got off really easy.I think of that every time I hear this song.

God Im old. Back in the summer of 85, this was heavy rotation on Mtv ( back when they were good ) and this video would play about once an hour. We would vegetate in front of the TV, sitting through the Madonna and Michael Jackson crap just itching for this video. When it finally came on, we would lose our minds and rock out. So much fun back then! The music videos were still a new media, and by this time they were getting better, mini-movies that were awesome, 5 minutes at a time.

I was in high school when this came out. This is when we were considered "hoods" for listening to this by the "preps". I remember the seniors got in trouble for smoking in the bathrooms. Lol. True story. Back when I was a volunteer firefighter, there was a fire at the local Hotel on band night. I swear to God, the band was playing "Smokin' in the boys room" when it started. Nobody would leave! As soon as we'd chase them out the side door, they'd come in the back. Luckily it was just a small electrical fire- too many "amps" on one circuit.
