Starry Eyes
Mötley Crüe Lyrics

When she laughs
She's got the power of a child in her eyes
And when you cry now
She'll hold you like a man's supposed to be held
I can't get into words how I feel
Get it right in this song now
I had to set her free
Needed a friend
Come back to me
Oh starry eyes
Oh oh (repeat)

Standing alone in the light
You could see her cry
With a smile and a wink
And a sparkle in her eyes
She calmly sighed, I will be alright
Okay child you've had to take the pain
Of a man in the streets
You gotta let me in
Needed a friend
Even just for one night

Oh, starry eyes
Oh, oh (repeat)

Oh no, oh no, oh no
Oh, starry eyes
Oh, oh (repeat)

The guitar riffs on this album were amazing.. Mick Mars is so underrated.

Yes, it is

The problem is that people want to consider all the dexterosity of available employment. The fact is that Mick Mars And mötley crüe have been able to generate an enormous amount of income from their music productions. Who cares about the virtuosos who are making pennies. I mean not in a sense of who cares. I care about them. But the reality is there is much more to a band than there is to playing fucking guitar for a goddamn kickass rock and roll band. Can you give me a fucking amen?

Agree

This really was their best album. Nothing against the later stuff. But they were young and the music was raw. Great stuff.

Donal Finn, you’re spot on with your assessment. I’ve always loved this album and thought it was their best work...
