@@samquik I find the humor pretty on par, but I really think Smiling Friend's art style adds a lot to the humor. Like the Renaissance Men just clip clopping away or the three frame smear animations. But I also think Hellbenders could have been great style wise if given the budget that Smiling Friends was. But then again I don't want to pretend I'm some expert lol. But Hellbenders doesn't have ANY of that iconic Shrimp Glow.

I honestly love just looking at everyone’s subtle body language as Charlie chops the tree down. Like Pims flinching as Charlie chops and increasingly tense body language, Alan and Glep looking around awkwardly, the guys noticing that the tree is gonna fall before Charlie does. It’s so subtle and like I didn’t notice cuz I was just focusing on Charlie. This show has so much love put into it.

I love how the show is genuinely funny but has such a cool mix of animation. They have different frame rates (like Jeremy going from two single frames to a realistic smooth style when they fall) and different styles all together.
