I honestly have no problem with the mount. I personally feel it is exactly what mages should get. I know people have wanted them since we saw them in the Eye of Eternity raid years ago. It may not be super creature 9000 but its what mages would use lore wise.

The good thing about this mount is the small size of it. It's just very convenient to use. Much handier than a big dragon in my opinion.

I feel like a spell that lets ur fly around using whatever spec you are as thrust would be the most amazing mount. (like firelord ozai from avatar the last airbender during the sozin's comet) The story line would be of a spell that ant dude was working on but never completed, and you have to figure out how to complete the spell. It would be simliar to flight form for druids so it can be instant cast. I think that would be one badass mount/spell/whatever that would be

Totally not an NPC

This was one of my least favorite mounts (although I do like that it's an improvement of the Pandaria disc in that it doesn't dismount you in water), but the questline for it was pretty fun. The fights against the different magical entities were fun semi-moderately-difficult solo fights with those vendor buffs making things easier

I would have liked to see mages be able to conjure a mount out of arcane energy (or fire or frost). Like the arcane birds they used to fly us to the broken shore. Could have customized them with glyphs for different animals or constructs. I mean we are archmages, this should be within our power right :P

The Arcane Stormcrow we used to fly into battle in the start of the Legionfall campaign should have been the mount intstead. Or something else other than a reskin of the most mundane mount in wow

when you're trying to maneuver around things with your mount and you've got a giant footprint massive dragon, seeing what you're trying to click is difficult. with the mage disk, it makes it a LOT easier to get close to things and still see what you're doing while mounted.

As someone who came from Everquest I've been wanting a mount like this for a long ass time. I am quite happy that mages get a disc to fly on. I've always thought that magic users should use their magic to do things like this. And are happy to see it in action.

Little detail you might not have noticed, but the Archmage's sanctum you passed through has a little interact-able Hearthstone on the table. If you click it, you can set your hearthstone to return here. Not much use, but I thought it was neat.

If you're a fan of stuff like D&D (and of being a wizard), this is kind of a dream come true. Basically Tenser's Floating Disk in mount form.
They could have done a lot more with it I think. More than most can imagine. Plenty of ideas come to mind, but alas they didn't go the extra mile for it.

I dont understand how the mage class mount is not a Blue Dragon that talks to you like the Monk one. They are the guardians of magic and can teach a mage so much. I guess they had to many Dragon mounts as is.

I've yet to see one of these mounts in game. I mean I've only been playing again for a month but I've literally seen all other class mounts. Minus this one. That speaks entirely for itself.

Blizzard decided to go with mage lore in making this mount. Mages who can fly around and cast spells freely and simultaneously are very powerful.

I know it aesthetically sucks though. Should have spiced it up a bit more.

Nobbel i have a weird question about old gods and titans i was wondering about what if azeroth the titan/ world soul were corrupted it sort of reminds me of the outer god azzinoth from hp love craft not only are the names sort of spelled similar but one of theorys in the hp love craft mythos is that azzinoth is located at the center of earth i think not 100% sure but that just seems way to similar to how azeroth the titan or titan soul is in the center of the planet azeroth im not sure if im thinking to much about this! >.<

honestly 100% with 99% of the player community it's a cop out on the mage class. Now If you where givin a new flight form like Druids or priest's Probably would have worked harder at getting it. But I guess Tergosas wrath will forever remain a relic. Even if the flight form is epic.

hey nobbel i was wondering how since paladins came to be by combining the teachings of the holy light of priests and the marital combat of warriors what if the opposite was put into effect. could you get a shadow paladin? and maybe this could be a 4th spec for paldins in an old god themed expansion and maybe add forsaken paladins?

Dont forget about the class phantasy a priest stands for worshipping a certain religion.. which can be the light therefore holy and discipline priests or a cult which would make them worship bad things and tjays when you get shadow priests, paladins are only teached in the holy aspect and arent occult in any way, so probally there wont be a new spec but maybe a new class based on the void aspect! time will tell

Nathan Dean They probally cant even hold it, it would incenerate them on the spot since calling on the light is given by naruu beings and they allow the undead to wield it since they are consicous about them having good intentions mostly and their faith, ashbringer is an object and doesnt recoginze it so probally would fry them on the spot

I think it's a little weird that they came up with the fidget spinner thing. I mean, in warcraft 3, the sorceress unit is clearly a mage, and we see that SHE CAN FLY you guys! she's just levitating like she's too good for the ground! if at the end of the questline we learned a spell that made us fly it would have way cooler (in my opinion) than getting this... thing.

I'm sorry you find this underwhelming, Nobbel. The flying disc from Pandaria is my favorite flying mount, since as a mage it seems more reasonable to have a magic construct for a mount rather than a creature. This class mount is right up my alley.

its not really only good class mount is the hunter ,rogue and MAGE most of them are terrible the warrior, dk ,warlock,monk and pally are just updated mounts ... the priest ,druid and shaman are terrible the dh would be good if it had a decent walk animation
