The lyrics of M.I.K.E.'s song We Are are a celebration of football and teamwork. The song starts with the repetitive chant of "Olé, olé, olé" which is traditionally associated with football support. The first verse mentions the excitement of the game and the importance of being with fellow fans to watch the game. The chorus builds on the chant, emphasizing the importance of teamwork both on and off the field. The second verse mentions some football legends such as Harry Kane, Rashford, Declan Rice, and James Maddison.
The song features various artists such as Morrisson and Sourcerer who add their own flavour to the song with their rap verses. Morrisson's verse talks about the team's determination and their drill-like strategy to win while Sourcerer's verse makes references to the players' skills and the influence of football in his life. The song ends with a repeated repetition of the chorus and the chant.
Overall, the song celebrates football as an important part of the culture and tradition of the UK. It shows the excitement, passion and unity that football brings to a community, and the importance of teamwork and cooperation within a team.
