Throughout their whole career M.O.P. deliver the most hard, vicious and violent music hip hop could ever offer. They struck out in 1994. with To The Death, a dark, slow and raging LP that was fully produced by DR Period and featured one of the biggest hardcore rap anthems of the nineties, How About Some Hardcore, that's put by any hardcore rap fan in the same category with Onyx's Slam, Jeru The Damaja's Come Clean and Wu-Tang Clan's Shame On A Nigga.
In 1996 MOP released their second effort, the totally-sophomore-slump-free Firing Squad. Despite totally changing their production sources (the album was mostly produced by Gang Starr's DJ Premier and Fizzy Womack himself), M.O.P. continued torturing fans' ears with extremely hard, rhinocerously slow beats and ecstatic, rampant delivery. Subject matter is either battling with heavy use of criminal associations or serious talk about life in the ghetto.
Two years later M.O.P. hit the fans with a starter - an EP called Handle Ur Bizness and later that year released First Family 4 Life, working on the same formula as ever, again with heavy percentage of DJ Preemo's production, more gems produced by group member Lil Fame and proving that M.O.P.'s trademark is not only the hardest hardcore you can get but also consistency.
Most of M.O.P.'s work was considered underground until 2000, when they released Warriorz, their best work yet. Mainstream got the first hint with "Ante Up", a track produced by DR Period for first time in 6 years. But with self-produced Cold As Ice, a track that featured a rock-song sample (Cold As Ice by Foreigner), M.O.P. achieved major mainstream success, though the song's lyrics were explicit and raging as usual (the radio version edits out much lyrical content to comply with FCC regulations).
In a strange turn, M.O.P. featured on the title track of sugary-sweet boy band LFO's 2001 album Life is Good. Aside from the lack of profanity, M.O.P.'s short verse was rapped in their trademark loud, intense style. It is unclear how this unusual team-up was organized, but it is unlikely that this brief guest spot led to much crossover fan appeal for either group.
"Ante Up" was later remixed with added verse by Flipmodian Busta Rhymes and Terror Squad queen Remy Ma, and was released on the greatest hits record 10 Yearz And Gunnin'. Believe it or not, it is the last hip hop record from M.O.P. In the beginning of the century they switched labels from Loud to Roc-A-Fella in order to have more income and more creative control, but the long-awaited release is still on the shelves. M.O.P. also made a rock-rap album titled simply Mash Out Posse, but it received bad reviews from rap fans who wanted M.O.P. to just rap.
In June 2005, M.O.P. officially announced their signing with 50 Cent's G-Unit, at the same time as Queens rap duo Mobb Deep.

Go nigga, raise hell!
Yeah! Yeah!
Raise hell!
Yeah! Yeah!
Go nigga, raise hell!
[Verse One: Lil' Fame]
Catch this new slug from the M.O.P. hitlist
It's thorough for the cars, for the clubs, for the Jeeps
(For the fellas on the corner posted up 20 deep)
Hold it down! Home Team back out to sail this
Make 'em collapse with caps and Fame make 'em famous
The "Downtown SWinger" gun slingers rock wild
And when I die, I won't be puttin out flames in hell
Cop a 10 milli from the corner store Arab
Fools with truck jewels get stuck for they karats
Hold on you hear somebody comin, you hear somebody gunnin
Them niggas that you run with is runnin
Cause it's (BULLETS OVER BROWNSVILLE!)
I'm from the place where trey-pounds and fo-pounds kill
Fool how that sound? (ILL!)
The star vendor, bend 'em like car fenders
Serve 'em like bartenders, what's next on the agenda?
Dope rap, we drop off crack, they can't stand it
When I'm {?} when only we be gettin 'em open like the 'Ville
With this fresh rush, show me on point in this game
Cause Fame plays well, and I raise well, so I raise hell!
[Hook]
Yeah, go nigga, raise hell!
Yo, yeah, raise hell!
Go nigga, raise hell!
[Verse Two: Billy Danze]
Raise hell, it's another death wish, I guess it's time
To grip nines, to rip behind enemy lines
Where it's ruthless, and get the troopers
That think it's somethin sweet
M.O.P. niggas was raised in the street, kid
Ain't nuttin changed cause I'm rappin, I am a
Ill nigga and I still will bust my hammer
(Is he a gangsta?) Blaze F-A-G's I don't stress 'em
When I, catch 'em I stretch 'em I bless 'em
And let his momma dress 'em
The name's Bill, the game's real, me and Fame feel
We can blow trial, and yo I'm ill
So blaow in your face! (Bla-bla-bla-blaow) to the death
(Buka-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-bu-KLAK) 'til there's nothin left
I ain't gon' be playin no games witchu frauds
Whenever the two guns bustin just don't be trustin this Drama Lord
(Take it to 'em son!) Yeah we got a plan, and
Billy Danze packin more steel than Bugsy Moran{?}
To the terrible organization, it's the M.O.P.'s last generation
Who wanna confrontation?
It's hammer time and I'm layin on you to see me
(Is he a tough guy?) Nah that's how they make him look on TV
Fake jerks I rattle, snake chumps I saddle
And ride they ass all the way to the bus without no truss
The Hill-top, will-rock, non-stop
Squeeze-Glocks, at the motherfuckers son
He can't run, so I ain't gotta chase him
(Do you think you can take him?)
Take him then I back him down and lace him, raise hell!
[Hook]
Raise hell!
Hell, hell, go nigga raise hell!
Raise hell!
Go nigga raise hell!
The song "Raise Hell" by M.O.P. is an explosive ode to the street life, urging listeners to cause chaos and mayhem. Lil' Fame sets the tone in the first verse, boasting about his lethal rhymes and warning rivals to stand down or face the consequences. He raps about living in a violent, unforgiving world where guns and drugs reign supreme, and the only way to survive is to stay vicious and vigilant. Billy Danze picks up the baton in the second verse, doubling down on the brutality and aggression. He spits vitriolic bars about blasting enemies, manipulating rival gangs, and asserting his dominance over anyone who dares to challenge him. The chorus is a simple and direct call to action, inviting listeners to join the fray and unleash their inner demons. Overall, "Raise Hell" is a hard-hitting, no-holds-barred track that speaks to the primal instincts of its audience, unapologetically celebrating the darker aspects of human nature.
