Inside
M.P.D. (Music Playing Disorder) Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

From here I can see
How everything is going
How the invasion i sent
Destroys the living

From here I can hear
The shouting of my enemies
The crying of the children
I will be feed with

My secret place is it
Where I can plot
The destruction of the world
Whilst I only see

I am the monster
I am the unliving
I am the destroyer
I am your nightmare

I am the monster
You can find in you
I am the destroyer
I am your worst night

From here I see you

Inside my tomb I'm hidden
And you can't find me
I work behind the curtains
Driving your death times

My secret place is it
Where i can plot
The destruction of your world
Whilst i only see

I am the monster
I am the unliving
I am the destroyer
I am your nightmare

I am the monster
You can find in you
I am the destroyer
I am your worst night

From here i see you
From here i see you

I am the monster
I am the unliving
I am the destroyer
I am your nightmare

I am the monster
You can find in you

I am the destroyer
I am your worst night

Overall Meaning

"Inside" by M.P.D. is a song that tells a story of a man who is imprisoned and is expected to be released soon. The lyrics explain that the man has been behaving well and the governor believes he will continue to do so as long as he follows the rules. The chorus repeats the phrase "It's the same old story," indicating that the outcome is predictable and not much has changed.

However, the song takes a turn as it reveals that the man may have been involved in a sexual assault. The lyrics suggest that the woman involved was convinced to testify against him, potentially falsely. The police are portrayed as skeptical, and the man insists that he did nothing wrong. The chorus is repeated again, adding to the idea that the outcome may not change.

The song highlights issues with the criminal justice system and how people can be unfairly punished or accused. It also touches on themes of trust, particularly in relationships and the law. The repetition of the chorus and the use of different voices throughout the song adds to the complexity of the story and emphasizes its importance.

Mr Thinker

You point gun at police officer, you get shot..... Case closed, nice shot officer 👍

Shiine Owens

He didn't point a gun it shows a gun raised but it never shows a gun a more pulled or directed at anyone neither body cameras show that and if they slowed it and faster motion than trying to slow it down to make it look like they had to subdue him by gunfire cuz he had a gun he did not point a gun at a police officer

ronald welch

God be with the family 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻

Richie Rich

May God also be with the officers and their families as well.

MPD huh. Now I probably can safely assume that the P is for police and the D is for department, But the M, now it could be the name of any number, but wait he said metropolitan, still not much help. News is no longer local, locations should be spelled out, not just hinted at.
