@yoruichisan19 I've noticed Spear and Fang living and surviving every episode...did I miss anything?
This ending was a slap in the face to fans. If you like it that's you, but to suggest this ending was "perfect" is quite preposterous.
I mean Spear has lost his family repeatedly. The show is about this hostile world and primal forces being triumphed through shear will and strength.
I just wish Spear could've atleast lived a little longer. I mean it isn't like Neanderthals lived for 80 years. They had a life expectancy of like 30 or something, he could've died naturally.
But no, of course not. The "Perfect" ending must have Spear cornering himself stupidly, being dumb enough to fling himself into a fire man, dieing for no reason at all, him being burnt so bad he's unrecognizable, all he can say with his last breath...MiRa, and then being RAPED BY SAID MiRa. Wonderful ending.
Like I said if you like it that's on you, but don't suck the dick of genndy just because the older episodes were good.

Samurai Jack ended with a heart wrenching twist that Ashi, a woman he grew to love to the point to marry her, was erased from existence once he at long last fulfilled his mission to right the timeline. He remembered her of course but without Aku- she could no longer exist.
But there was a game that released for the Samurai Jack series where he hid the “real ending” where Ashi did not in fact vanish and they lived their lives happily ever after.
Personally- I kinda hope they don’t go that route with this series as… tragic as it is and ironically speaking- is very real. Look upon the past ancestors with love and remembrance, learn from them and their accomplishments and mistakes- and bring that into the further to grow on.

I love how Mira and the daughter have spears as weapons as a way to carry on Spear’s legacy. It’s one of the most heartwarming things ever.

@Suraida-Chan thats why mira plays a deeper role in his story deep down after all the adventures he still felt alone wanting to belong so she out of love bared his child and carried his legacy ive also read a comment saying that mira was like an angel cuz before he met her he was struggling to survive its untill thy meet that a softer side comes out not to mention his only word is mira similar to wall e saying eve
