Inspire l'autre (inspire l'autre)
Bras de bois, des clefs aux doigts
Des cordes pour tendons
Agite-nous, agite-moi
Fais l'arpège, sature le son, ensemble!
Inspire l'autre (inspire l'autre)
Inspire l'autre (inspire l'autre)
Inspire l'autre (inspire l'autre)

The song "Qui De Nous Deux" by M. is about inspiration and collaboration between two musicians. The lyrics talk about how they inspire each other and play together as one, creating beautiful music. The first verse describes the physicality of playing music, with references to a "bras de bois" and "des clefs aux doigts" (wooden arm and fingers on keys), and "des cordes pour tendons" (strings for tendons). The second verse talks about the intimacy between the musicians, with the reference to playing "ventre a ventre" (belly to belly) and being "elegante compagne" (elegant companions).
The chorus repeats the question "Qui de nous deux inspire l'autre?" (Who inspires the other?), emphasizing the mutual inspiration and collaboration between the two musicians. The bridge features a drum solo and showcases the range of instruments and sounds that the musicians can create together.

I had an older sister who greatly enjoyed music in different languages and other countries. She was a huge fan of Matthieu Chedid and a number of French bands from France. This song was one that I would hear her regularly listen to since it was her favourite. At first, I thought it was silly because I never understood the language and the singer's costume made me think that his music wasn't meant to be taken seriously.
My sister sadly passed away almost a year ago and I gathered up the courage to listen to some of her favourite music again. I now understand why she loved this song and a bunch of other songs from this singer. There's something deeply beautiful about Matthieu's music. Even if you don't speak French, you can feel the emotions that the singer was expressing through his music. That's why my sister loved listening to him so much.
R.I.P. My big sister. I'm sorry I didn't understand what you liked at first, but I do now. <3 I hope you're discovering and enjoying more music up there in the sky.
@JohnMoran
"Who of us
Inspires the other
Which of us
Speed the other
Speed the other" - are the lyrics, and that seems a good message.

I'm sure your sister rests in peace with the angels in heaven, amen.
