Give me peace and chemicals, I want to run into

Overall Meaning

flowers with you
Give me peace and chemicals, I want to swim into
the sound with you
Give me hope and chemicals, I want to dive into
the ocean with you
Give me everything and nothing, I want to run away
with you

The lyrics of M83's song Run Into Flowers appears to be a desperate plea for escape, possibly from reality or negative emotions. The singer is searching for a sense of peace and hope, and believes that chemicals may hold the key to achieving this. The repeated phrase "I want to run into flowers with you" can be interpreted as a desire to find beauty and positive experiences, and to do so with a partner.

The lyrics also mention wanting to "swim into the sound" and "dive into the ocean," which could symbolize a longing to immerse oneself in something greater and more powerful than the self. This could be interpreted as a desire for spiritual enlightenment or simply a desire to feel a sense of belonging.

Overall, the lyrics of Run Into Flowers suggest a desire for escape and a search for something more meaningful and positive.

Probably the most underrated M83 song ever made

One of those songs that leaves you breathless. I love this band

I heard this song in my photography class when we were doing prints! We had ourselves a music station to listen to when we did our photos. When the song came on, I felt an overwhelming sense of nostalgia from the sounds and the chords. The sudden freedom and relief while being happy!

This song also got me with a wave of emotion. The sensual feeling of closure and wanting to be alive where everything else once stood, is a powerful feeling I get from this song.

So nostalgic it hurts soooo good. However the whole bittersweet thing is undeniably and nothing short of my own experience here on this soon to be dystopian landscape. Unequivocally I still have the affinity and ability to love, understand and adore such masterpiece with an upmost carefulness...foolishly thinking if I chose to make light of the wonderments this guide for living rather than just a mere song would seize to exist......I refuse
