This tendency is innate to humans.

One man can build a bomb
An individual can have the power to create destruction.

Another run a race
While others may compete in more harmless, physical contests.

To save somebody's life
Someone may put themselves at risk to help others.

And have it blow up in his face
However, sometimes these acts of kindness can backfire and cause harm.

I'm not the only one who
Many others also struggle with understanding this behavior.

Finds it hard to understand
This behavior is difficult to comprehend.

I'm not afraid of God
But rather, I am afraid of other humans.

I am afraid of Man
Because people have the potential to be dangerous and harmful.

Is it running in our blood
This behavior may be innate and passed down through generations.

Is it running in our veins
This behavior may be deeply ingrained in us, almost like a physical trait.

Is it running in our genes
This behavior is likely to be part of our genetic makeup.

Is it in our DNA
This behavior is coded within our genetic material.

Humans aren't gonna behave
People will not always act in the way we expect or hope.

As we think we always should
Our expectations of human behavior may not match reality.

Yeah, we can be bad as we can be good
Humans have the potential for both positive and negative behavior.

Underneath it all, we're just savages
At our core, humans are still primitive and animalistic.

Hidden behind shirts, ties and marriages
Despite our clothing and social structures, we are still driven by our primal nature.

How could we expect anything at all
It is unrealistic to expect humans to always behave in a civilized manner.

We're just animals, still learning how to crawl
Human civilization is still evolving, and we have yet to fully control our primal instincts.

Another day, another tale of rape
Sexual violence is unfortunately common in society.

Another ticking bomb to bury deep and detonate
Danger may be lurking beneath the surface, waiting to explode.

You can see it on the news
These types of events are often reported on in the media.

You can watch it on TV
People often consume news and media through television.

You can read it on your phone
News and media is also available on mobile devices.

You can say it's troubling
These events can be distressing and concerning.

Truth is in us all, cradle to the grave
The capacity for both good and evil exists within all humans from birth to death.

All the hate coming out from a generation
There can be a lot of anger and negative emotions within a particular age group.

Who got everything, and nothing guided by temptation
Those who have everything in life may still be driven by harmful desires.

Were we born to abuse, shoot a gun and run
Is violence and aggression part of our inherent nature?

Or has something deep inside of us come undone?
Or, is this type of behavior a result of societal influences breaking down?

Are you killing for yourself, or killing for your savior?
What motivates someone to commit acts of violence or harm?

We steal, we kill, we lie
Humans are capable of these negative behaviors.

Just like animals
Our behavior can be similar to that of animals.

But with far less grace
Unlike animals, humans often lack elegance and finesse in their actions.

We laugh, we cry
Despite our negative behavior, humans also experience positive emotions.

Like babies in the night
Like infants, we are still learning and growing as a society.

Forever running wild
Human behavior can be unpredictable and chaotic.

In the human race
This is all part of the experience of being human.

We're just animals still learning to behave
Humans are still evolving and trying to control their animalistic nature.
