Zorro's cape conceals the various tools and weapons he uses

And eveything black, on this he insists
Zorro wears all black, which is his signature look

I am the Batman
The artist identifies with the character of Batman

I jump up and then I land
Batman is athletic and able to jump and land gracefully

You don't know what I got in my hand
Batman's gadgets and weapons are hidden from view

The shape of a bat you go "SPLAT!" and "KABLAM!"
Batman's signature symbol is a bat, and he uses it to intimidate his enemies

I am the Dark Knight
Batman is also known as the Dark Knight

I do whats right, but I do it out of spite
Batman's motivation for doing what is right is sometimes driven by anger and revenge

Don't look quite right if you turn on the light
Batman's appearance is intimidating and scary

I'll land with a boom, which goon wanna fight?
Batman is confident in his fighting abilities and is not afraid to take on any opponent

Dad had the limo out back
The artist's father has a limousine parked in the driveway

I was sacked out cause I'm a little lad
The singer is tired and falls asleep in the car because he is a child

Don't wanna be older, head's on a shoulder
The singer does not want to grow up and become like his parents

I heard a loud sound, and I went on the ground
The singer hears a loud noise and falls to the ground

It was sad... and my father was dead
The loud noise was the sound of the artist's father being killed

My mother was screamin' till she was shot in the head.
The artist's mother is also killed by the attacker

The singer only remembers what the killer said to him

These are the killer's words to the artist before he kills his parents

The artist is scared and frozen with fear after witnessing the killer murder his parents

The artist promises to his parents to avenge their death and fight crime

The singer wants to fight evil while wearing a cape, and jokingly suggests wearing tights

The singer knows he will have to return home eventually, but is currently focused on training
