1) A rapper from New Orleans.
2) MAC was a short-lived 1980s Finnish rock group consisting of future Dingo members Neumann, Pepe Laaksonen, Jari-Pekka Laaksonen and Jarkko Eve. The group released only two singles in 1981 before splitting up in 1982. After Dingo split up in 1986, three of the four MAC members continued to form just as short-lived a group S.E.X. in 1987.
1) Mac is a rapper from New Orleans' third ward who was one of the most critically acclaimed artists on Master P's No Limit Records. In 2001 he was convicted of manslaughter charges even though he maintains his claim of innocence. He is currently serving a 30 year prison term.
He released his first album under the name Lil' Mac in 1989 at the age of 12, the "Lyrical Midget," receiving production from the then unknown producer Mannie Fresh. Mac would later join the Psychoward, a New Orleans group consisting (at the time) of more than 25 MCs. Psychoward is known (especially in the city) for having a sound that separates itself from the usual Bounce music and gangster/hustler lyrics that typifies most of the New Orleans rap scene, rather focusing on lyricism and a sound which could be described as a New Orleans Wu-Tang Clan. This made them favorites of local "hip hop heads" who often prefer this style to other local acts.
Mac's own debut on No Limit came with Shell Shocked, an album considered by many to be one of No Limit's best. Mac gained a reputation as one of the south's best lyricists. His lyrics display the somber realism and maturity that is a mainstay in much of Southern Rap as well as the lyrical dexterity of his East Coast counterparts. This album also followed the typical No Limit album formula: the deep, introspective tracks mixed in with up-tempo tracks, and a heavy presence of guest features from No Limit labelmates. His next album, World War III, came on the "downslope" of No Limit's fame. It came after Beats By the Pound, No Limit's in-house production team who are often credited with making No Limit the empire it was, left the label over purported money disputes, along with much of No Limit's roster. This may have been a blessing in disguise though, as Mac's lyrical skill was allowed to shine through on production more suited to his style. This album is also more introspective than his previous effort.

Fifty dollars, that's a killin no doubt

Bury me with camo and ammo in case the devil want to start somethin
Chorus
Verse 2: Fiend

Mister Shell Shock and get it on Jones up in your home
Watch me hit 'em, get 'em, lit 'em, Fiend gon split 'em
Ya ain't know it, I got it bucked on that let's go get 'em
Form my tent gear rhythm, causin ghetto circumcisions
Betta be barred behind prison, than facin this expedition
On a mission with my right hand man Mac, my brother
Use a garbage bag to smother mothers and they lovers
Undercovers fear us, can't watch, we got it on lock
My baby's first words gun glock, cause that nigga's Shell Shocked
Chorus
Verse 3: Mac
Big Mac, that's my daddy, rotten dirty straight up soldier ya heard me
Ain't no secret one of the realest niggas I creep with
Since I was little taught me what's real
Gave me the skill on how to tote that loaded steel
And I, I kill kill
Deep nine Train gave me his name
Gave me the game, gave me them thangs
Ya fuck with me, he'll give you a bullet in yo brain
Hey man, my nigga Wapp, cut the table, camouflaged my label
Put the nigga gangstafied like we Kane and Abel
Storm that's my thug love til I die
Shell Shocked bout to go in that water with them when it's time to ride
When we unload inside of anger
My soldier rag made me a stranger
Harm them niggas who was about that danger(Shell Shocked)

The song "Shell Shocked" by Mac featuring Fiend highlights the tough and dangerous world of the streets, where people are always ready to fight for their survival. In the intro, Mac and Fiend welcome the listener to the battlefield, where everyone is shell shocked. The chorus represents the lives of these people who are always ready to use their weapons to protect themselves or get what they want. The verses represent the experiences of two different individuals. Mac talks about his experiences on stage as a rapper and how he can intimidate people with his lyrics. He also talks about his friendships and how his father taught him the skills to be a real soldier. 38 years old now. Was 15 years old when I first heard this. Young kid living in the fast lane. No parents selling drugs. Had a car and a dream to make it out the ghetto. I have to say I'm blessed now. Successful business man. Never gave up on my dreams through all my struggles.
