@Cody Newman Not really. If they put a bucket on it, it is an excavator, if they have a tree cutter on it, it becomes a feller buncher, harvester or something else related to logging. Just like a tracked front loader isn't a bulldozer... 😁

It is just me being me. I know that the machine is known as a tracked excavator, just because that is what it normally does. But there are machines with the exact same layout that are not ever used for excavation and they are never called excavators.
