Reppin bitches, reppin clothes
I got rare designer clothes
Gucci Prada Louis V
Yeah I got a lotta clothes
Yeah I got a lotta hoes
Got a lotta those
Got a lotta hoes
Yeah I gotta lotta hoes,
I don't keep them close
She fiend all over my jewels
Like she carry tools
You can't eva gimme dap
Unless I know u strapped
Or I'll break yo bitch back
And rap about it on my next track
Yeah
Yeah
Young man on a yacht, ion know
Yeah yeah
Bad bitch tryna fuck me she open all of my doors yeah
She keep tryna suck me but she tryna call me whore yeah
Fuck me now she gonna be a whore in the whore house
Yeah yeah
Fuck that bitch in Hermes now that bitch all on me, yeah
Got a bitch just for me to hold down when things get wild you know that bitch
Fuck bitches only on the weekends do it horribly
Making hoes get on they knees y'know they take it orally
Break it down: u fucking if u cant show up for orders bitch
Fuckin on a king size yeah u know she staying privileged
A thousand bucks? i just got dissed
Rolls Royce on her fucking wrist
Her mans sleeping with the fish
Now she think I'm broke and rich
Pop some pillies when I'm off that richard milli
Pop some perkies, not those pillies, unless u wanna pillow slip
G shock on that wrist of his
Now she speaking with a lisp
Fuckin on her girlfriend now she really riding with a stick
Yeah
Yeah
Young man on a yacht, ion know
Yeah yeah
Bad bitch tryna fuck me she open all of my doors yeah

She keep tryna suck me but she tryna call me whore yeah
Fuck me now she gonna be a whore in the whore house

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Mack D.L.E.'s song, "Future," seem to focus on his material possessions and sexual encounters. In the first few lines of the song, he raps about the designer clothes he has, name-dropping luxury brands like Gucci, Prada, and Louis Vuitton. He also talks about having a lot of women, referring to them as "hoes."

In the following verses, he continues to boast about having sex with women and even threatens violence with the line, "Or I'll break yo bitch back and rap about it on my next track." He also mentions taking drugs like "pillies" and "perkies" and references wealth with lines like "Rolls Royce on her fucking wrist" and "Now she think I'm broke and rich."

Overall, the song's lyrics seem to portray a hedonistic and materialistic lifestyle, where the pursuit of wealth, sex, and drugs is paramount.

@@xa_pd I wish this weren't so complicated.

A bunch of streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp say that this song was released in March of 1993 on Mack D.L.E.'s The Saga Continues project (this project was also re-released later), so unless the person who entered this info messed up, I would like to believe it's correct. Discogs even says on the page for the 2020 re-release of The Saga Continues (which includes Future Ride on the track list) that the project originally was released in 1993, and there wasn't mention of track list differences between the 2020 release and the original.

I also think it's possible that the songs off Level 7 were possibly all recorded in 1993, but maybe weren't fully mixed/mastered, and/or properly packaged and made available for sale until 1994, which could explain why there are conflicting dates for this.

At this point, we can just guess who has the most valid information, but there doesn't seem to be a convenient way to 100% confirm whether Future Ride came out in 1993 or 1994. I have just seen a good number of sources say that it came out in 1993, and believe there is a good chance that the song was originally recorded then, so I choose to believe in this release and recording date.

If you were there in Memphis when Mack D.L.E. first put out both The Saga Continues and Level 7, and want me to take your word for both albums being released after 1993, I might try to do this, but when it comes to the recording date situation, unless we get word from Mack D.L.E. on it, we are left to decide for ourselves whether we believe this song was made in 1993 or 1994.
