When we fell in love
We were young
And innocent then
Do you remember
How it all began
It just seemed like heaven
So why did it end?
Do you remember (I bet you remember)
Back in the fall (I bet you remember)
We'd be together (I bet you remember)
All day long (I bet you remember)
Do you remember (I bet you remember)
Us holding hands (I bet you remember)
In each other's eyes (I bet you remember)
We'd stare (I bet you remember)
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Do you remember
How we used to talk
We'd stay on the phone
At night till dawn
Do you remember
All the things we said like
I love you so
I'll never let you go
Do you remember (I bet you remember)
Back in the spring (I bet you remember)
Every morning birds would sing (I bet you remember)
Do you remember (I bet you remember)
Those special times (I bet you remember)
They'll just go on and on (I bet you remember)
In the back of my mind (I bet you remember)
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
When we first met girl
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Those sweet memories
Will always be dear to me
And girl no matter what was we said
I will never forget what we had
Now baby
Do you remember the time
When we fell in love
Do you remember the time
Mack Wilds's song "Remember the Time" is a nostalgic and sentimental tribute to a past love. The lyrics begin by asking the listener if they remember when they fell in love, when they were young and innocent, and how it all began. The chorus repeats the phrase "do you remember the time" multiple times, highlighting the importance and significance of the memories shared with this past love.
The verses continue to describe the memories of this past love, including holding hands, spending all day together, late-night phone calls, and exchange of sweet words. The lyrics remind the listener of the happiness and joy of that time, and acknowledges how unforgettable it still is, despite the end of the relationship.
This song speaks to the universal feeling of nostalgia and longing for the past. The vivid descriptions of seemingly ordinary moments shared with a past love are relatable to anyone who has experienced a significant, yet fleeting relationship. Mack Wilds's smooth vocals and catchy melody add to the wistful and bittersweet tone of "Remember the Time."

This guy's cover was great. No one will ever come close to MJ's talent, obviously. But it won't hurt to actually give props to artists who're keeping his music alive through their own covers. Simple appreciation never really hurt anybody.
Christopher Miller
What's dope is he made it his own version rather than just do a remake.

Mack Wilds is such a talented artist... he definitely deserves more credit than receives. To those who are saying they like MJ's version better, they're both equally good if you ask me... this one just so happens to be more modern. Oh well you can't please everyone.
Marvin Nyanson
I like how he took this classic song and made it his own. I like it
