When this song played at the finale scene of Ugly Betty as Betty walked away and the "Ugly" faded over the credits, back in 2010, I literally cried! One of those moments when the music fits so perfectly with the story! I will always hold a special place in my heart for Suddenly I see (which they played at the beginning of the pilot episode) and this one. Both songs are incredibly amazing and they lifted my spirits along with that incredibly amazing show!

I was 20 when this song came out and it was one of my favourites, perfect for my young idealistic heart looking forward to the future, looking forward to change things for the better while also enjoying all the Beauty that is present. Now 11 years later, I was at the same time happily dancing to the song and at my surprise honestly crying for my younger version of me and all the ways her heart has been broken by the world since then.
