Since Disney + is taking away the willow series off the air I just wanted a recap and not waste my time on a series that will have no conclusion.

I came here for the same reason - I missed it. I might have enjoyed it, coz my standards are low, but it looks a bit too much like the recent Shannara Chronicles series and not enough like the original Willow movie.
Incidentally, can anyone tell me why it would save a company money to pull a series from its service that it had produced itself and already made? I'm confused.

@@originaluddite Woah! I actually didn't know that they pulled the whole thing! I thought they had just canceled season 2. Yeah, I have no idea why they did that.

@@originaluddite i believe it was done for tax purposes and they don't have to pay royalties to anyone if they don't air it. They can also say it was a loss and make some of their money back. That's just my guess. Also your right it kinda reminded me of the Shannara Chronicles (it was interesting) i only saw the first season of that, but never bother to continue, they probably cancelled it.

I think Shannara had two seasons before cancellation. I watched just the first and found that the adolescent drama got in the way of adventure too much (which is how this looks from the summary). I forgot about things like paying royalties to creators and so on. Still a bit shabby to do that after less than a year. I only discovered it on returning to DisneyPlus (I use one service at a time) but luckily there's other stuff there I want to watch.

I didn't think you could do it in 8 but nice work. I loved the series. I know it basically became a teenage romance but that aside I loved the trip back to my childhood. I hate in the the troll episode that they never did a good Ole throw back to the line from a different movie" take your paws off me you damn dirty ape"😂
