The amount of people being together pre COVID...
And the fact that I was a kid finishing elementary school when this came out, which links this song to many happy memories.

Es ist krass wie viele von uns sich nach früher sehnen und wie viel dieses Lied an Erinnerungen weckt. Es tut mir Leid dass ihr seither negative Dinge erleben musstet, sei es der Verlust einer geliebten Person oder veränderte Lebensumstände in der Familie. Im Mai 2022 hab ich diesen Kommentar geliked. Jetzt ist schon Januar. Ich hab mir in der Nacht einfach ein paar "alte" Songs angehört, unter Anderem auch dieser hier. Auch wenn es sich peinlich anhört, habe ich, als ich dieses Video geschaut habe und den Song nach wohl 10 Jahren wieder gehröt habe, Gänsehaut bekommen und etwas geweint. Nachts, nach Mittertnacht ist man irgendwie am emotionalsten 😆.Ich hab mir vorgenommen entspannter durchs Leben zu gehen und auch netter zu sein. Jetzt bin ich wieder hier und naja, ich hab an mir gearbeitet und einiges ist besser geworden. Ich bin aber noch nicht am Ziel angekommen.

This flashmob is the best thing that has happened in the history of Eurovision! Hell, perhaps even in the history of everything - it is one of the best things ever! For once Eurovision wasn't about promoting countries and boosting their economy. For once it was all about the people, about us - being together in this. I swear every time I watch it, no matter how often that has beeen, I can't help but swell up on inside with emotions and tears. At that moment I really feel like we're all one, we're together. Like nothing else matters, we are so close to each other and we share everything with each other. Ich hoffe alle die diesen Kommentar finden geht es gut. Es ist schon krass, dass man sich so sehr nach der Vergangenheit sehnt, vor allem in diesen Zeiten. Im Laufe der Jahre hab ich dieses Video sicher schon an die 40-50 mal gesehen und ich glaube mir sind jedes Mal die Tränen gekommen. Keine Ahnung woran es genau liegt, aber alle Menschen gemeinsam tanzen zu sehen, zu sehen wie sie Freude und Glück empfinden, einfach Spaß haben ist so wunderschön. Tanzen ist eine universelle Sprache. Es ist glaub ich fast unmöglich beim
Tanzen nicht mitzufühlen und glücklich zu sein. Vielleicht sollte ich auch wieder damit anfangem.

2010 .. mittlerweile bin ich 23 Jahre jung und dieses Lied, und vor allem dieser Flashmob, löst so viele Gefühle in mir aus. Meiner Meinung nach ist das einer der besten Flashmobs die es je gab und geben wird. Ich bin 22, verbinde mit diesem Lied aber definitiv sehr viel mehr als den weltweiten Frieden, in meiner Internatszeit, 2010 lief dieses Lied dauernd im Radio

Ich war grad mal 12 als das Lied Rauskam, ich weiß noch wie alle dazu abgingen. Es war halt noch ne geile und unbeschwerte Zeit gewesen: die Sommerferien, der Autofreie Tag auf der A40, die WM, der ESC, einfach alles. Und heute? Inflation hier, Ukrainekrieg und Covid da 24/7 in den Nachrichten. Es ist schade dass im Laufe von 10 Jahren alles den Bach runter ging. Würde mir so gerne die 2010er wieder zurück wünschen

It's very late at night and I am almost crying because I miss those times and it breaks my heart, how it is so simple to choose love over hate, yet we don't seem to do it. Life is so short, why would anyone want to waste their time causing harm and spreading unnecessary hate? We are all part of the same world, the same earth and share the same roots.
This is my favorite thing that eurovison has ever done and I wish they could do something like this again. This video just shows how it could be, if people decided to finally understand that we need to choose love. Nothing, no war, no riches, no material thing is worth more than that.
