Zed Bias, Phuturistix, Henchmen, Daluq, Talissman, Ruffcut Bias, Nu Design, 7 Wonders, Dekata Project, Strontium Dog – just some of the names Maddslinky, aka Dave Jones, has recorded under in the last ten years as himself or in collaboration with others.
With a slew of seminal releases in 1999 on his own Sidewinder and Sidestepper imprints, Jones then hit the UK Charts as Zed Bias in 2000 with Neighbourhood, now widely regarded as one of the all time classic UK Garage tracks. So much so that with the recent resurgence in the 2-Step sound in the UK club scene it was re-released last year with a remix from Roska that fully redefined its importance to a younger generation of clubbers.
The first Maddslinky album, ‘Make Your Peace’, dropped in 2002 and although not given a very wide release it proved to be a highly influential record in the early days of dubstep, with the likes of Skream still citing it as a massive influence on his music. Featuring collaborations with Will White (Propellerheads), Kaidi Tatham (Bugz in the attic), Luca Roccatagliati (Ajello/Daluq), Kevin Robinson, Kayo, Juiceman and Simba, ‘Make Your Peace’ will be officially re-released on Tru Thoughts in the summer of 2010 to bring this pioneering album the attention that it deserves, alongside a brand new Maddslinky album with collaborators including Skream, Omar, Jenna G and many more.

Omar is one of the greatest singers of all times! A dearest friend who has inspired my music on many levels. My first Omar song I ever heard was "Little Boy". Classic song and one of our favorites.

Awesome tune...Omar has been blessed with a talent that very few people can ever conceive..If you take the time to listen to the voicing(the harmonic structure) is awsome. There are layers of vocal upon top of the other..This man can sing in 3 octaves, very few people can sing correctly in one octave...
