Find her at the discotech she'll be dancing like a fella
You better ring la Machina de Bella
You better ring la Machina de Bella
You better ring ring la Machina
You better ring la Machina de Bella
Oh, if you break her heart, she's just sixteen and will-a
Bella Bella Bella
You better ring la Machina de Bella
You better ring la Machina de Bella
You better ring ring la Machina
You better ring la Machina de Bella
Love her like you did before, but offer your umbrella
Buy her clothes, cause what does it show when she looks like Cinderella?
You better ring la Machina de Bella
You better ring la Machina de Bella
You better ring ring la Machina
You better ring la Machina de Bella
Oh, if you break her heart, she's just sixteen and will-a
Cry alone in the dark and wait for the ring of Machina de Bella
Bella Bella Bella
You better ring la Machina de Bella
You better ring la Machina de Bella
You better ring ring la Machina
You better ring la Machina de Bella
Madeline's song "Machina De Bella" is a cautionary tale about treating women with kindness and respect. The lyrics urge the listener to "love her like you did before but treat her twice as well" and to "buy her clothes, cause what does it show when she looks like Cinderella?" It is important to note that the song refers to the subject as "she" but also alludes to the fact that she dances "like a fella," suggesting that gender should not dictate how one is treated. The chorus warns that if her heart is broken, she is just sixteen and will cry alone in the dark and wait for the "ring of Machina de Bella." This phrase is repeated throughout the song and it is unclear what it means, however it serves as a reminder to the listener to treat the subject of the song with care.
Overall, "Machina De Bella" is a song that promotes empathy and kindness towards others. The lyrics encourage the listener to be mindful of how they treat women, emphasizing that they should be treated with respect and offered support. The mysterious phrase "Machina De Bella" is used to drive home the importance of treating people with kindness and care, suggesting that there are consequences for not doing so.
