Mademoiselle K is a french indie rock band. "Mademoiselle" means "Miss" in english, the "K" refers to the band leader Katerin Gierak.
The band is composed of the following:
Katerine Gierak, volcal and guitars // Pierre-Antoine Combard aka "Peter", guitars // Pierre Louis Basset aka "Pilou", bass and chorals // David Boutherre aka "David", drums and chorals.
Amongst their main influences are Janis Joplin, Jeff Buckley, The Clash, The Cure, Mahler, M, PJ Harvey, idiots talking on the street, Bach, Lou Reed, disco music, David Bowie, The Who, Gainsbourg (alcoholic period), Portishead, Radiohead, books, Pixies, good vibes, the sun in the sky, the rain when it rains, the green of cucumbers, etc...
Their debut album "Ca me Vexe" was realeased on august, 2006 on the independant label Roy Music.

The song "Aisément" by Mademoiselle K talks about how easy it is for them to do anything. The opening line "Aisément Aisément doigts dans l'nez" means "Easily Easily fingers in nose" which is a way of saying they can do things with ease. They then go on to say how they can cause the end of the world in two seconds, showing their confidence and ability to do anything. The lines "Une pour toi une pour moi/Aisément on fait le fin du monde/J'te donne l'hémisphère nord/J'ai froid/Je prends l'hémisphère sud" talk about how they can cause the end of the world and jokingly divide the world between themselves by giving the other person the northern hemisphere while taking the southern hemisphere for themselves.
The second verse talks about how they used to have money ("on avait du blé") but now they don't know where it went. They express frustration and a headache and talk about taking the left hemisphere of their brain and leaving the unreliable right hemisphere and the ministry to return to the small country of Liechtenstein. They again emphasize their ability to do things quickly ("En 2 temps 3 mouvements") and show solidarity with someone who's being mistreated.
