Psychodelic lyrics for a polite band.
Maga is also a solo project by Marc Fien, who started drumming when he was 6 and has played in a variety of bands and projects since. To name but a few: ‘Osiris’, ‘Hookah’, ‘Ominous Tribe’, ‘Rosenbaum Trio’, ‘Sand/Elephantum’ and ‘Tegenpolen (live band)’. With his love for stoner rock, funk, techno, drum & bass and many other styles he became a resident dj in ‘t Ukien (the place to be in Kampen city, the Netherlands) for 7 years. In this period his craze for digital expression took flight and the MAGA project was born.
Dormido
Maga Lyrics

Donde no queda más que recordar,
Te encontré durmiendo,
Sin saber que estabas junto a mí.
Escondí estampas con tu olor
Para así, poder un día volver
Y seguir trepando cuando nadie se acuerde ya de ti.
In the song Dormido, Maga talks about finding someone sleeping while climbing on steam cubes. The imagery of climbing on steam cubes is interesting as it creates a surreal and dreamlike atmosphere. The person who is sleeping is someone that the singer knows but they are unaware of their presence. The lyrics suggest that the singer has feelings for this person or perhaps a history with them that makes them want to come back to them.

Al trepar por cubos de vapor,
Climbing over steam blocks,
Donde no queda más que recordar,
Where nothing remains but to remember,
Te encontré durmiendo,
I found you sleeping,
Sin saber que estabas junto a mí.
Unaware that you were next to me.
Escondí estampas con tu olor
I hid pictures with your scent,
Para así, poder un día volver
So that one day I could return,
Y seguir trepando cuando nadie se acuerde ya de ti.
And keep climbing when nobody remembers you anymore.
