Tambalea
Mala Rodríguez Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

No valgo moneda, valgo justo, tantea

Sentao, yo tomo nota, ella no planea, ella no tantea
Ella jacarrea, si llora berrea, si quiere querrea

Overall Meaning

In the first verse of Mala Rodríguez's song Tambalea, she expresses her love for tropical music and partying. She acknowledges that she is not just someone who wants a simple beer, she wants to dance and have a good time. The chorus says that just give her a minute and she'll make everything shake. The girl wants to have fun, challenge someone to a dance-off, and feel the beat that makes one dizzy. She wants to flirt, kiss someone, and get heated. The song then moves on to say that she may not have monetary value, but she's just as valuable and exciting as any person. She seeks attention and wants to be desired. She also wants to learn from those who have power and learn their ways.
