Malmonde Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Slaves of machines, already too late
A.I. will take our breath
We cannot disconnect anymore
Metal machines have locked our gates
They will lead our hearts more and more
Subtilite artificielle
Psaumes electriques changeront la foi
Machines a tuer souffleront nos Lois!
As we created them they are
Nothing less, nothing more
No fight!
The lyrics to Malmonde's song Machine express the idea that humanity has become enslaved by machines, and it is already too late to fight against this new reality. The use of artificial intelligence has become so widespread that it has taken over our lives to the point that we cannot disconnect anymore. The machines have literally locked our gates and are leading our hearts more and more every day. The lyrics also suggest that machines will change our faith, and machines that were created to kill will blow apart our laws. This highlights the fear that many have about the potential dangers that come with the rise of artificial intelligence, and the idea that humanity may no longer have control over what we have created.
The song's title, Machine, is a reference to the central theme of the lyrics, which is the idea that humanity has become enslaved by machines. The lyrics suggest that our addiction to technology has reached a point where we are no longer in control. The use of the phrase “Slaves of machines” highlights the sense of helplessness and the feeling of being trapped by our own creations.
