Glad to see Maltese Falcon getting their due, even if it IS 30 years later.. I heard of them first after buying Roadrunner Records' METAL MACHINE compilation (in 1984 or 1985). "Rats" was on that, but I bought the MF album at first sight thereafter. This is probably my favourite tune from it, but it is rife with great songs ("Alive," "Open Fire," "Mammas in Town," and the title track, to name a few). This stuff never gets old..

Not bad at all indeed! I just laugh at the fact that Kerrang was puttin 'em down that way... There's a load of crap which is really worse than this... especially nowadays with the so-called nu metal shite!

good for you dutch people ;-) In Italy we had Metal Shock, which was a very good magazine... but all the historic staff went away after only 10 years of business... their substitutes were not up to the task...

In those days I read Kerrang often and quite some times I read ridiculous comments. Glad I live in the Netherlands where we have almost 30 years Aardschok with people who know their business !!
