La música que hacen es difícil de catalogar, pues les molesta ser encasillados en géneros como el ska o el happy punk. Se consideran un banda de rock, porque piensan que los demás son subgéneros del mismo, y creen absurdo el etiquetamiento que hoy en día está tan en boga. Lo cierto es que han creado un estilo propio, que aunque recupera elementos de dichos géneros, se alimenta de muchos otros, como el swing, la cumbia y hasta el hasta el drum&bass.
El grupo se formó con el noble propósito de conquistar el corazón de las juventudes mexicanas. Pero cuando ya llevaban cinco años, se dieron cuenta que esa frase definía una misión estúpida, e imposible de conseguir. Ahora sólo quieren hacer canciones y vídeos. Los dos guitarristas, Alfredo y Marco, son artistas audiovisuales, que además de la música, han creado programas de televisión para Telehit, Much Music, OnceTV, Canal 40, Argos, Televisa y Directv

The song Supermercado by Mamá Pulpa tells the story of a person who is hungry and penniless, with no friends or relatives to help. The singer decides to go to a supermarket, not to steal but just to borrow some food. They take some ham, bread, and cheese, thinking that it is not a serious crime. They start to convince themselves that what they are doing is not so bad and they can take more things. They take a coat and remove the tag to make more room for other things such as cans of sardines, CDs, napkins, perfume, a stapler, a drill, a box of cookies, and even a cart.
However, the situation turns sour when he is caught by a strange man and is taken to a room for interrogation. The interrogator is initially nice but gets increasingly aggressive, asking about his personal life and why he stole. The singer has no answer except that he didn't have any money to buy what he needed.
