Con los clavos del amor mi morena
No soy de tu propiedad mi reina
Y no voy a ser tu esclavo
Si siempre te amé
Por estar atado al corazón
No voy a ser el otro eslabón
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Mujer hermosa
Eres una reina peligrosa
Eres las espinas de una rosa
Me matas amor
Mujer hermosa
Eres una reina peligrosa
Eres las espinas de una rosa
Mas no voy a ser tu esclavo
Eres una reina
Una princesa del amor
Donde pierdo entre tus muslos la razón
Mujer eres magia negra
No no no no no no no
Mujer hermosa
Eres una reina peligrosa
Eres las espinas de una rosa
Me matas amor
Mujer hermosa
Eres una reina peligrosa
Eres las espinas de una rosa
Me matas amor
Ay no quiero ser esclavo del amor
Ay yo quiero escaparme del dolor
Ay no se qué hacer
No se no se hey
Mujer hermosa
Eres una reina peligrosa
Eres las espinas de una rosa
Me matas amor
Mujer hermosa
Eres una reina venenosa
Eres las espinas de una rosa
Mas no voy a ser tu esclavo
Sépalo bien pero óyemelo bien
Oye me bien pero jugarte yo no soy tu esclavo
Sépalo bien pero óyemelo bien
Pero qué© yo no voy a ser tu esclavo no no no
Sépalo bien pero óyemelo bien
Eres una rosa una rosa filosa
Sépalo bien pero óyemelo bien
Óye óye óye óye óye
The song "No Voy A Ser Tu Escalvo" by Maná explores themes of love, ownership, and freedom. The singer of the song is pleading with his love interest not to consider him as her property or slave. He acknowledges that he loves her but cannot be the next link in her collection of slaves. He compares her to a queen, a princess of love, and a dangerous rose with thorns that can kill. The singer acknowledges that he gets lost in her magic and beauty but cannot sacrifice his freedom for her.
The lyrics examine a power dynamic between individuals in a romantic relationship. The singer is resistant to being owned or controlled and wants to assert his own agency. The song also suggests that the love interest in question may be manipulative, withholding, and dangerous to his well-being. Throughout the song, there is a sense of tension and conflict between the singer's desire for love and his need for autonomy.
Overall, "No Voy A Ser Tu Escalvo" is a powerful song that explores complex human emotions and dynamics in relationships.
