Te solté la rienda
Maná Lyrics

De mi mano izquierda
Voy a dejarte el mundo
Para ti solita
Como al caballo blanco
Le solté la rienda
A ti también te suelto
Y te me vas ahorita
Que el amor bonito
Lo tenías conmigo
Vas a extrañar mis besos
En los propios brazos
Del que esté contigo
Vas a sentir que lloras
Sin poder siquiera
Derramar tu llanto
Y has de querer mirarte
En mis ojos tristes
Que quisiste tanto
Cuando se quiere a fuerza
Rebasar la meta
Y se abandona todo
Lo que se ha tenido
Como tú traes el alma
Con la rienda suelta
A ti también te suelto
Y te me vas ahorita
Y cuando al fin comprendas
Que el amor bonito
Lo tenías conmigo
Vas a extrañar mis besos
En los propios brazos
Del que esté contigo
Vas a sentir que lloras
Sin poder siquiera
Derramar tu llanto
Y has de querer mirarte
En mis ojos tristes
Que quisiste tanto
Que quisiste tanto
Y que quieres tanto
Se me acabó la fuerza
Y te solté la rienda
The song "Te solte la rienda" by Maná talks about letting go of someone you love. The lyrics convey a sense of resignation and acceptance that the relationship is over, and the persona is willing to let go and allow the other person to move on. Despite the pain and the feeling of loss, the persona is ready to release the reins and let the other person leave.
The metaphor of the white horse with loose reins is powerful in conveying this idea. When the reins are released, the horse can run free, and the person riding the horse has no control over it. In the same way, the persona is letting go and allowing the other person to run free, even though it might be painful. The lyrics also suggest that the other person might regret leaving and realize that they had a good love with the persona.
The song's structure is simple and straightforward, with a repetitive chorus emphasizing the idea of letting go and the pain that follows. The melody is catchy and easy to sing, making it a popular song for karaoke and covers. Overall, "Te solte la rienda" is a classic love song that speaks to the universal experience of heartbreak and letting go.

Se me acabó la fuerza
I have run out of strength and energy
De mi mano izquierda
From my left hand
Voy a dejarte el mundo
I am leaving the world to you
Para ti solita
Just for you
Como al caballo blanco
Like letting go of a white horse
Le solté la rienda
I let go of the reins
A ti también te suelto
I am also letting you go
Y te me vas ahorita
And you will leave me now
Y cuando al fin comprendas
And when you finally understand
Que el amor bonito
That beautiful love
Lo tenías conmigo
You had it with me
Vas a extrañar mis besos
You will miss my kisses
En los propios brazos
In the arms
Del que esté contigo
Of the one who is with you
Vas a sentir que lloras
You will feel like crying
Sin poder siquiera
Without even being able
Derramar tu llanto
To shed your tears
Y has de querer mirarte
And you will want to look
En mis ojos tristes
Into my sad eyes
Que quisiste tanto
That you wanted so much
Cuando se quiere a fuerza
When one loves forcefully
Rebasar la meta
To surpass the goal
Y se abandona todo
And everything is abandoned
Lo que se ha tenido
What one has had
Como tú traes el alma
As you carry your soul
Con la rienda suelta
With the reins loose
Y cuando al fin comprendas
And when you finally understand
Que el amor bonito
That beautiful love
Lo tenías conmigo
You had it with me
Vas a extrañar mis besos
You will miss my kisses
En los propios brazos
In the arms

Of the one who is with you
Vas a sentir que lloras
You will feel like crying
Sin poder siquiera
Without even being able
Derramar tu llanto
To shed your tears
Y has de querer mirarte
And you will want to look
En mis ojos tristes
Into my sad eyes
Que quisiste tanto
That you wanted so much
Que quisiste tanto
That you wanted so much
Y que quieres tanto
And that you still want so much
Se me acabó la fuerza
I have run out of strength and energy
Y te solté la rienda
And I let go of the reins
