People have been asking about Paul Zone & Miki Zone's musical connection with Bobby Orlando.
Bobby Orlando produced the first recordings of Paul & Miki’s pop/punk band THE FAST in 1975 including “Boys Will Be Boys” & “Wow, Pow, Bash, Crash” on the “Max’s Kansas City 1976” LP. An original version of "At The Gym" was Produced by Bobby Orlando with Paul Zone & Miki Zone as THE FAST in 1982 when they decided to venture into electronic dance music before they changed their name to MAN 2 MAN. An updated version of "At The Gym" was released by MAN TO MAN in 1987. In 1982 Bobby also produced & recorded The Fast songs "Unisex Haircut" and the original version of "Male Stripper" re-recorded as MAN 2 MAN in 1986.

"Male Stripper" was originally written & recorded in 1982! (re-recorded and released in 1986). It was the end of The Fast and Electro for us was on the horizon. We had just released the synth single "Moontan" so Miki and I went to work with the original Fast producer Bobby 'O' who was hot with The Flirts, Divine, Pet Shop Boys and his own recordings as an artist. We recorded a few singles with Bobby that were never released (he was already juggling more than a dozen acts on his own label "O" Records). We started with 3 songs in about 3 weeks of recording and mixing, "Unisex Haircut" (later we gave the song to John Sex to record), future Man 2 Man songs "At The Gym" (re-recorded and released in 1987) & "Male Stripper" (re-recorded and released in 1986). We performed all 3 finished masters at the Fun House that night. We had a roster of original new songs fully written & some from our days with The Fast that would turn out to be perfect for MAN 2 MAN. We'll always be grateful to Bobby "O" for being there with his support at the beginning of The Fast & the beginning of Man 2 Man.

THE FAST & MAN 2 MAN always had a roster of fully written & arranged songs ready to record. Producers, Co-Producers, Engineers, Mixers, etc. NEVER contributed with songwriting, melodies, musical parts or lyrics. All credits on all MAN 2 MAN & THE FAST original released recordings are listed correctly.
