The music of Mana Mana is composed of a driving bass accompanied with three distorted guitars and the haunting vocals of Jouni Mömmö. Jouni also wrote all the lyrics, filled with his view of the world and the anguish of mind.
After Jouni's death Mana Mana put out split single with an old previously unreleased song. There was also a compilation CD released which included all the recordings done by Mana Mana. In September 2000 the remaining members of the band released an album consisting of songs written and composed by Jouni Mömmö which were never recorded before.

Sillä on puolensa
Herätä hulluna
Silläkin on puolensa
Kun silmän säteellä
Ei muuta kuin kuolemaa
Totuus voi paljastaa
Ankarat kasvonsa
Kuolla elävänä
Sillä on puolensa
Jälleensyntymä
Samassa ruumissa
Kuljemme yhdessä
Näemme valoa
Vain yksi jumala
On meissä kaikissa
Joku on tulossa
Syntynyt tulesta
Veden hallitsija
Syntynyt tulesta
Joku on tulossa
Tulen hallitsija
Syntynyt vedestä
Tulen hallitsija
The lyrics of 'Kuolla elävänä' by Mana Mana are intriguing and thought-provoking. The words translate to 'to die alive.' The song presents the idea that death has its benefits, but so does living. The first verse acknowledges that going crazy also has its advantages, as it can reveal the harsh truth of reality. The line "Kun silmän säteellä ei muuta kuin kuolemaa, totuus voi paljastaa ankarat kasvonsa" means that sometimes, only death can reveal the true nature of things, and it can do so in a brutal manner.
The chorus reiterates the concept of 'to die alive.' It suggests that being reborn in the same body has its advantages, as it allows people to walk together and see the light. The lyrics create a sense of unity among people who have all experienced death and rebirth in some way. The last part of the song talks about two beings coming, one born of fire and the other water. This could be interpreted as a reference to an apocalypse, where the elements take on life and destroy the world.
