A solo grunge-rock project by artist Phill Vidler; utilising his talents from other styles and genres such as folk and jazz, Phill creates a dark and punk-y rock-esque essence with his use of sunken-toned guitars and high energy drums, complimenting his searing vocals.
Drawing inspiration from bands like The Black Keys, The White Stripes, Biffy Clyro and The Killers, manboy’s debut EP, “makeshift bohemia”, is a genre-bending blend of funk, blues, grunge, and synth rock.
