During the summer of 2000, Mandragora Scream (Morgan Lacroix) finally became a group. Morgan Lacroix and Terry Horn started together their journey and between the years 2000 and 2001 they realized their first album "Fairy Tales From Hell's Caves" (released by Nuclear Blast). Fairy Tales is a trip into the Inferno, tormented by passion, anguish and madness, where, taking the place of Virgilio in the exhausted way through the boredom and marthyrdom in Dante's circles, there is an unusual vampire fairy.
In 2002 Mandragora Scream composed the second album "A Whisper of Dew" (released 10th February 2003 by Nuclear Blast). This concept album is based on a vampire story written by Julio Angel Olivares Merino. The CD is released together with the book.
The heart of the Group is centered on Morgan Lacroix - singer, musician and author of the Lyrics, and on Terry Horn - guitarist, composer, arranger and performer of all the music. Other unbelivably fascinating musicians in their style get together with them. Mat Stancioiu on drums&percussions, Jack Lowell Halleyn on keyboards.
Centered into the passion for the particular music, Mandragora Scream finally built up its stronghold. The Group devotes itself to the research of magic motives and ancient tales that accompany them in their journey towards the most bewitched lands, keeping as fixed purpose the passion and the aim of taking the listener inside always more ancient and chivalrous atmospheres.
Farewell
Mandragora Scream Lyrics

Him:
"Lucifer race whispers in silence
Condemned to stand on the gallows of violence"
Lucifer:
"The heroes die with a smile upon their face and why'd you call my golden rays Horns?"
Bless the night hear my cryin'
All the days in your life
Lust of mind Heavens dying
Son of my dark dawn
Where's my life? Here in my arms
Where's my blame? Here in my soul
Help me to hate you while I'm goin' away from you...
Him:
"Lucifer race whispers in silence
Condemned to fight and leave the world insane"
Lucifer:
"I'll be the one that carries faith in life and lead in the dark of our upcoming lives"
Blasted mind sinful lies
Can becloud our life light,
Lord of disgrace
Sacrificed and
Melodies delight
Where's my life? Here in my arms
Where's my blame? Here in my soul
Help me to hate you while I'm goin' away from you
The song "Farewell" by Mandragora Scream begins with a conversation between two characters, Him and Lucifer. Him says that the Lucifer race is whispering in silence and that they are condemned to stand on the gallows of violence. This could be interpreted as a reference to the fallen angels, who were cast out of heaven and now reside in hell. Lucifer responds by questioning why Him would call his golden rays horns, which is likely a reference to the common depiction of Lucifer as a horned devil.
The chorus of the song is a plea for help, as the singer asks for their cry to be heard and wonders where their life and blame are. The verses continue with the conversation between Him and Lucifer, as they discuss the state of the world and the role they will play in it. Him says that Lucifer race is condemned to fight and leave the world insane, while Lucifer claims that he will be the one who carries faith in life and leads in the dark of their upcoming lives.
The second chorus repeats the same plea for help, but this time with additional lines about lust of mind and the death of heaven. The song ends with a reference to sacrifice and melodies delight, before returning to the repeated chorus. Overall, the song seems to be a dark and introspective meditation on life, death, and the struggle between good and evil.
