It started as a three-piece by Zhenia Novikov and two sisters, Polina and Ania Butuzova who played guitars and drums at their saturday practices after that huge Moscow disco fridays in the summer of 2007. Having gained positive critical and public acclaim, the band (who used to call themselves "[Those] Who Bed Models") decided to put their songs on the record and handled the production duties to Volodia Komarov (Punk TV, Hot Zex), who already established himself as a successful sound-wizard. As a result their debut EP "Another Girl" (feat. such songs as Another Girl, I Don't, About Something and The One) saw its release in January, 2008. After the time bassist Zhora Kushnarenko had joined the band, they started to play at Moscow venues under the name MANICURE, including a gig with Neils Children and EIOH, sharing the stage with Late Of The Pier and Glass Candy, and receiving even bigger praise of Moscow audience.

Their debut album "About the something", also produced by Komarov, had been finished in August of 2008. Although "Another girl" became a hit and was chosen for Miller beer TV ad company, there are no other "Girls" on the CD. On the contrary Manicure try to look more serious with the gloomy sounds, dirty synths, gorgeous harmonies and rowdy rock-n-roll riffs.

Hi :) I really can't tell the difference by memory of those two, there might be a slight difference in power of the led lights (wattage) or even amount of led lights. I'd recommend comparing both lamp's product specs to be sure. The difference might be in just one little spec :)

Great video, really helpful as just bought this. I used to have shellac nails done before COVID-19 hit, so purchased my own shellac nail polish & this exact nail lamp. However, I find that my shellac polish doesn't dry. So realised I should be using gel nail polish. Before I spend more money on nail products, can anyone let me know what shellac / gel nail polish brand they use please that dries with this exact lamp.

Not sure if this helps as it is way late but any help polish that cures in LED light such as Gelish, IBD, OPI, China Glaze etc. Shellac only cures under a UV light :/

I just bought this one. Was looking for reviews so glad I found your video. I did my nails yesterday but I think I didn't do it quite right cuz my nails weren't properly cured, even when I did a 60sec and thereafter another 30sec... And you only did 30sec! So I don't know if I overcured my base, or put too much polish on my nails, probably the latter, should do more thin coats I assume? But yeah I'm also glad I got this one. Just need to figure my gel nails out😄

I did not know overcuring was a thing O_O What does it looks like if a gel polish is overcured ? I keep having issues with my gels remaining like ... rubbery flexible and peeling off in one large rubbery like sheet .. and i am not sure why it keeps doing that, arent gels supposed to become solid and hard ?

Hmmz, that sounds like the gel is not cured enough. It indeed is supposed to become a harder surface! I would suggest applying really thin layers instead and making sure you cure for the right amount of seconds that the brand of gel you are using recommends (it can really vary in between brands for how long you have to cure them). I haven't had many gels curing for too long, but the ones I had some issues with were kind of rippling up around the edges of the nail. Best is just to remove it while soaking with acetone and redo the entire nail :)

The 80W spec they gave you is false. Just check the power supply: it's 12V 3000 mA (3A) 12V x 3A = 36W. Which makes sense because it probably uses 36 LED's of 1W each.

I really couldn't say! It might has to do with the seller buying a ton of them at once and being able to sell cheaper, but there are also a bunch of fake ones who look exactly the same but don't have the same amount of watt because of using different led lights etc. but claiming it's the same. It's always questionable when ordering things like this from aliexpress for such low prices ^^"

Last question please 💖 my lamp is wonderful it cures in 30 sec all my gel polishes but the top coat is always sticky no matter how many times I cure it 🥺 it's not thick btw so I don't know what's the problem.. my top coat says NO WIPE but i can't wear my nails like that.. they're gonna be ruined immediately when I touch them bc of the stickiness of the top coat.. Have you tried a different topcoat? It might be the brand of gel topcoat, maybe it needs to be cured with a stronger led lamp :)

Some topcoats can have a sticky layer after curing, that is not fully cured gel that needs to be removed. No wipe top coats don't have this sticky residue! :)

It really depends on what the brand you use recommends. I never remove the sticky layer of the base coat since that's needed for the coloured gel to adhere better. Also I don't remove the sticky layer of the coloured gel either because I top it off with a non wipe topcoat anyways. But that works for the brands that I use (madam glam and pink gellac).

Pink gellac heeft hun eigen lampen, die match ik ook altijd met elkaar in gebruik. En het is belangrijk gel niet langer of korter uit te harden dan aanbevolen. Dit is een led lamp, aangezien er ook alleen ledjes in zitten 😊

Gels tend to have a sticky uncured layer left on the nail after curing. It's important to remove that so it won't get onto the skin and cause irritation or allergic reactions 😊

Deze is gewoon led :) De 30 seconden is specifiek voor het uitharden van de madam glam gel polish welke ik als voorbeeld in de video gebruikte. Die heeft namelijk maar 30 seconden in led nodig. Het verschilt altijd per gel polish merk hoe lang en met welk soort licht ze uit moeten harden (pink gellac moet bijvoorbeeld altijd een volle minuut in led).

That's called a heat spike! It happens when you use too much gel at once, especially with clear coats. It then kind of works like a magnifying glass and heats up really fast, causing a pain reaction.

Your gel polish and top coat might not be compatible. Nail Career Education has a video about it (called troubleshooting gel polish, I believe), might want to check that!

Lamps like this don't do anything for regular nailpolish, it's only for gel and polygels ☺️

Hi all, I got this lamp recently and settled the time exactly to 60 sec. because didn’t work on 30sec. My 💅 nail polish didn’t dry out
I took my hand out and the nail polish was exactly as I put it on at first. It was a mess 😑 can somebody tell me what I did wrong? Please I want to dry out my gel nail polish.

my lamp recent stopped flashing it’s uv light. The digital timer turns on it’s just the purple uv light wont work. The first time I turned it on it was perfectly fine but now it stopped. Any help?

I have read it works for all types of gel :) Personally I only use regular gel polishes and no builder or poly gels.

I have a question, i bought this. After I cure my nails for 30sec they are still sticky. Same after another 30seconds and another and another. What am I doing wrong? Suggestions welcome.

And is it a one step gel or a no wipe gel that you applied? If not, it needs a no wipe top coat :)

@femketjeNL I wipe the gel off at the end. But I also mean in-between applying 1 coat of colour, its still wet and not cured. And so once I finish the top coat, it says Led light cure for 2-3mins on the bottle, but mine are still soft. I can just peel them right off in one go.

I just ordered it from Shein & am waiting for it to arrive. I used the 20% off coupon; reg price is $18CAD, I paid $11.98 (I used some Shein points). I have GelMoment lamps which are smaller & aren't curing my ModelOnes builder gel; this one also allows for the thumb to be cured (GM lamp has LEDs from top only).

What exactly do you mean? You set it up for 120 but changed it during the countdown? Or do you want a setting for 120 seconds but the lamp does only 90 for example?
