Se esfuma tu amor
Marc Anthony Lyrics

Armarlos y recuperarnos
In Se esfuma tu amor, Marc Anthony sings about a love that has vanished, leaving behind a deep wound and shattered dreams. The song's lyrics are emotional and heartbreaking, as the singer describes his trust and devotion to his partner in the past, only to be left with empty hands as she slowly distances herself until everything they had together is gone. He starts by expressing his belief in her and how much his life was intertwined with hers, as he had put his dreams in her hands and was willing to follow her without questioning her. However, as time goes by, she fades away, leaving him with emptiness and a feeling of betrayal, as she takes away not just their shared life, but also anything that wasn't rightfully hers. The chorus expresses the magnitude of the loss and the extent of the pain he feels, as everything he had built with her is reduced to nothing, and his heart and life are shattered, leaving him blind to any hope or reason to keep going. He wonders how he can go on without her and how he can let go of the dreams he had protected for so long, only to find himself as nothing but a man who has lost everything.
The song's lyrics are a powerful representation of the pain and heartbreak that come with lost love. They convey the emotions of someone who believed in the power of love and trust, only to have it all taken away. The sense of betrayal and emptiness that follows is palpable in the singer's voice and the sad melody that accompanies it. Overall, the song is a poignant reflection of the end of a relationship and the struggle to move on.

Quiero decirte que creía en tu palabra
I want to tell you that I trusted your word
I want to explain that life was with you
I had placed my dreams in your hands
Que sin dudar te seguiría
That without hesitation I would follow you
Sin preguntarte confiaría
Without asking questions, I would trust you
With the passing of time, you drifted away
As someone who leaves little by little and forever
Leaving behind what was once part of your life
Tomando lo que no era tuyo
Taking what was not rightfully yours
Lo que no te correspondía
What didn't belong to you
Y todo todo queda en cero amor
And everything ends up being zero love
Y nada nada queda en su lugar
And nothing is left in place
Ahora mi corazón se parte en dos
Now my heart is split in two
Se quiebra mi vida
My life is broken
Profunda la herida
The wound is deep
Que deja ciega toda la ilusión
That leaves all the hope blind
Que deja abandonado un sentimiento
That leaves a feeling abandoned
It breaks, shatters, and gets lost in time
Se escapa, se vuela, se esfuma tu amor
Your love slips away, flies away, fades away
With empty hands, so empty that
It's like killing from one day to the next
Lo que con tanto empeño he protegido
What I had protected with so much effort
Y quedarme con mis sueños en pedazos
And being left with my dreams shattered
Armarlos y recuperarnos
Putting them together and recovering
Knowing that I am a man who has lost
