Te Conozco Bien
Marc Anthony Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Te quise de veras
Rabia porque te di
Lo que nunca
Imaginaste un día tener
Todo el mundo a tus pies
Siento lastima
Tú me extrañas
Lo noto en tu voz
Las veces que llamas
Porque yo sé que sufres con él
Aunque fingías ser fiel
Mira si yo te conozco bien
Que me atrevería jurar
Que no duras junto a él
Un fin de semana más
Sin que extrañes en tu piel
Todas mis caricias
Yo que te conozco bien
Me atrevería a jurar
Que vas a regresar
Que tocaras mi puerta
Yo que te conozco a ti
Me atrevería decir
Que estás arrepentida
Yo que te conozco bien
Me atrevería a jurar
Que vas a regresar
Que tocaras mi puerta
Yo que te conozco a ti
Me atrevería decir
Que estás arrepentida
Mira si yo sé tanto de ti
Que me atrevería decir
Que en las noches al dormir
Me imaginas junto a ti
Devorando como el mar
Toda tu malicia
Yo que te conozco bien
Me atrevería a jurar
Que vas a regresar
Que tocaras mi puerta
Yo que te conozco a ti
Me atrevería decir
Que estás arrepentida
Yo que te conozco bien
Me atrevería a jurar
Que vas a regresar
Que tocaras mi puerta
Yo que te conozco a ti
Me atrevería decir
Que estás arrepentida, hey
Te conozco bien
Estás arrepentida
Yo que conozco tu cuerpo y tu piel
Me atrevería a jurar que me extrañas, mujer
Te conozco bien
Te conozco bien
Estás arrepentida
Que tú volverás, que tú volverás
Que tu volverás a mi puerta
Y para ese momento siempre estará abierta
Te conozco bien
Te conozco bien
Estás arrepentida
Tú, regresarás, y aquí te espero, negrita
(Pa-pa-ra ri-ra-ra), ¡hey!
(Pa-pa-ra ri-ra-ra), ¡huy!
(Pa-pa-ra ri-ra-ra)
(Pa-pa-ra ri-ra-ra), eh

The lyrics to Marc Anthony's "Te Conozco Bien" translate to "I feel sorry, sorry because I truly loved you. Angry because I gave you what you never imagined having one day. The whole world at your feet. I feel pity because I know that you still miss me. I notice it in your voice every time you call because I know that you suffer with him, even though you pretended to be faithful. Look, if I know you well enough, I would dare to swear that you won't last with him one more weekend without missing all of my caresses on your skin. I, who know you well enough, would dare to say that you are repenting. I know you well enough, and you are repenting."
The song is about a relationship that has ended but the singer is confident that the person will come back to them because they know them so well. The lyrics detail the feelings and emotions of the singer after the break-up, reflecting on their own love for the person and the flaws and mistakes that led to the end of the relationship. The chorus repeats that the singer knows the person well enough to predict their return and feeling of regret.
