Juntos eternamente
Si te pierdo no sabría como hacer
Eres la fuerza en mi interior
Si tu no estas ya no se mas quien soy
Solo déjame hacerte feliz
no importa donde estés vives en mi
Puedo estar con otra mujer to se
y por el mundo todo recorrer
Para que buscar si te tengo aquí
Todo mi dinero puedo malgastar
Conocer mujeres que me quieren amar
Para buscar si te tengo aquí
Si soy feliz
Lo que siento te lo debo a ti
Me haces sentir que hoy he vuelto a vivir
Yo viviré por ti
The lyrics of Marc Anthony's song "Te Tengo Aquí" depict a man who is deeply in love with a woman and doesn't see the point in seeking something he already has. In the first verse, he acknowledges that he could be with other women and travel the world, but he realizes that he doesn't need to, because the woman he loves is right there with him. He even goes as far as to say that he could spend all his money on wooing other women, who want to love him, but he doesn't need to find someone new because he already has the person he wants. The second verse delves deeper into the emotions that he feels towards this woman. He confesses that she is the end to his loneliness and the person he has been waiting for. He thanks her for making him feel alive and for giving him the strength to face whatever comes his way. He tells her that if she ever leaves him, he wouldn't know how to continue living his life.
On the whole, the song is a beautiful ode to love, gratitude, and commitment. It reminds us that when we find someone we truly love and cherish, nothing else matters, and no one can compare to that person. The musical arrangement of the song is characterized by dramatic string sections, soaring vocals, and a toe-tapping percussion section that makes one want to dance. The song is a popular favorite among Latin music fans and has become a staple of Marc Anthony's live performances.
