Le Monde Est Tellement Con

Moi je ne peux pas
Par la fenêtre
J'vois la terre en bas
Ici tout me dépasse
Même le silence
Et les aiguilles qui passent
Sur ton absence
As-tu des envies
Connais-tu la fièvre
Froisses-tu ton lit ?
Le monde est tellement con
J'ai envie de partir d'ici
M'en aller sans raison
Ne plus donner signe de vie
Respirer d'autres bars
Essayer d'autres lits
Me perdre par hasard
Respirer d'autres bars
Essayer d'autres lits
Me perdre par hasard
Oublier qui je suis
Oublier qui je suis
Oublier qui je suis
Oh oh tu dors peut-etre
Moi je ne peux pas
Par la fenêtre
J'vois la terre en bas
Le monde est tellement...
Le monde est tellement con
Qu'j'ai envie de partir d'ici
M'en aller sans raison
Ne plus donner signe de vie
Respirer d'autres bars
Essayer d'autres lits
Me perdre par hasard
Oublier qui je suis
Oublier qui je suis
Oublier qui je suis
The lyrics of Marc Lavoine's song "Le monde est tellement con" reflect the singer's feeling of being overwhelmed by the world around him. He finds himself unable to sleep, watching the world below and feeling disconnected from it. He wonders if his sleeping partner is dreaming, if they have desires or if they share his sense of being lost. He feels like he is drowning in the pointlessness of everyday life and seeks escape from it all. He contemplates leaving everything behind, seeking out new experiences and completely forgetting who he is.
The song's title means "The world is so stupid". This reflects the singer's frustration and disappointment with the world around him. He feels that he cannot relate to the people and things around him and wants to escape it all. The repetition of the chorus emphasizes the desire for escape and the idea of forgetting oneself in the process.
The lyrics also touch on the theme of detachment and disconnection. The singer feels that he is unable to connect with those around him and questions the purpose of his life. He feels like a "coward" for not having the strength to face the world and for wanting to run away from it all.
Overall, the song deals with the universal feeling of being lost and disconnected. The singer's desire to escape can be seen as a metaphor for wanting to escape the problems and difficulties of life.
