Marching Band Lyrics
Smoke gloats today
Might have been the last time
Spark clogs tonight
Biding your own time
They try to put you down, stay true to your school
Stay true to your school
Since you're convinced it's right, stay true to your school
Stay true to your school
Rain can't stop, you're not near
Glade stuck in your face, won't dry away
And I won't help, that is clear
Couldn't take
Yesterday was walking over Jordan
By mistake, it was my mistake
Yesterday was walking over Jordan
These are the things that keep him sane
These are the things that aggravate
Some fall asleep and don't awake
Some failing all the undertakes
Some try real hard but it's too late
Some get their wings immaculate
He can't let go, his arms will break
These are the things that aggravate
He's not talking loud
But something screams it out
On the top of lungs
And big building tops
They try to put down, stay true to your school
Stay true to your school
We model our thoughts so they seem deep
...
Two chances or less is what you get
It won't help, that is clear
Jealousy, yesterday was walking over Jordan
Halfheartedly never worked for me
Yesterday was walking over Jordan
These are the things that keep him sane
These are the things that aggravate
Some fall asleep and don't awake
Some failing all the undertakes
Some try real hard but it's too late
Some get their wings immaculate
He can't let go, his arms will break
These are the things that aggravate
These are the things that keep him sane
These are the things that aggravate
These are the things that keep him sane
These are the things that aggravate

Marching Band is an indie rock duo consisting of Erik Sunbring and Jacob Lind, based in Linköping, Sweden. In 2008, their first full-length album Spark Large was recorded and highlights the bands one of a kind indie pop sound. While the group does use the mainstay rock sounds of guitars, drums and bass guitar, they also employ an array of more eccentric musical instruments for a indie pop band, such as xylophone, marimba, banjo, vibraphone and unique vocal harmonies.
