Dios Está en Este Lugar

Lleno de gracia y majestad
Caminando entre nosotros
El está
Dios está en este lugar
Siento su gloria y Su poder
Es tan real
Podemos respirar Su paz
Libérame de mi aflicción
Ven restáurame Señor Jesús
Tócame Libérame
Yo sé que estás aquí.
The lyrics to Marco Barrientos's song Dios Está en Este Lugar capture the essence and beauty of God's presence as it is experienced in a particular place. The song begins by acknowledging that God is present in the place where the singer finds himself, and that his presence is characterized by grace and majesty. The second line builds on this idea, saying that God is not just present, but also actively walking among the people in this place. The repetition of the phrase "Dios está en este lugar" reinforces the idea that God's presence is tangible and real, something that can be felt and experienced by those who are present.
The chorus takes this idea a step further, expressing the singer's personal experience of God's presence. He says that he feels God's glory and power in the place, and that it is so real that the people there can even breathe in his peace. The second stanza shifts the focus to the individual, as the singer invites God to come and heal him of his affliction, asking him to restore and touch him. The final line, "Yo sé que estás aquí" (I know that you are here), brings the song full circle, as the singer affirms his belief in God's presence in the place.
Overall, Dios Está en Este Lugar is a song that invites listeners to experience God's presence in a very real and tangible way. It acknowledges his grace and majesty, and encourages believers to seek his healing, restoration, and touch.
