Infinito Desejo
Maria Bethânia Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Essa fome de afagos e beijos
Essa sede incessante de amor
Ah! Essa luta de corpos suados
Ardentes e apaixonados
Gemendo na ansia
De tanto se dar
Ah! De repente o tempo estanca
Na dor do prazer que explode
E a vida, e a vida, e a vida
E e dem mais
E esse teu rosta sorrindo
Espelho do meu no vulcao da alegria
Te amo, te quero meu bem
Nao me deixe jamais
E eu sinto a menina brotando
Da coisa linda que e ser tao mulher
O santa madura inocencia
O quanto foi bom e pra sempre sera
E o que mais importa
E manter essa chama ate quando eu nao mais puder
E a mim nao me importa nem mesmo
Se deus nao quiser
"Infinito Desejo" by Maria Bethania from her record "Personalidade"
The first verse of this song speaks about the infinite desire, which is called delirium. The intense longing for affection and kisses, the unquenchable thirst for love. The next verse talks about the struggle of two passionate bodies, sweating and moaning in desperate yearning for each other. The time seems to stop with the explosion of pleasure and the joy of life, represented by the smiling face of the lover. The singer confesses her love and absolute dependency on her lover that she never wants to lose.

E a mim nao me importa nem mesmo
And I don't even care
