Me faça seu travesseiro
Aquela roupa eu nem tirei,
Só prá dormir com o seu cheiro
Aquele beijo de boa noite
Aínda queima em minha boca
Nem o café esconde o gosto
E so vejo o seu rosto
Caíu do céu em meu mundo
Se eu fico longe só um tiquinho,
Um pouco mais que um segundo.
A corda quebra, o carro para,
O riacho fica fundo
A corda quebra, o carro para,
O riacho fica fundo
Aquela roupa eu nem tirei,
Só prá dormir com o seu cheiro
Aquêle beijo de boa noite
Ainda queima em minha boca
Nem o café esconde o gosto
E so vejo o seu rosto.
Você é a estrela do mar profundo,
Caíu do céu no meu mundo
Se eu fico longe só um tiquinho,
Um pouco mais que um segundo.
A corda quebra, o carro para,
O riacho fica fundo
A corda quebra, o carro para,
O riacho fica fundo
Não tenha medo,
Lhe ajudo na atravessia
Não sei nadar, flutuar
Basta só me acompanhar
Não tenha medo,
Lhe ajudo na atravessia
Não sei nadar, flutuar
Basta só me acompanhar...
Você é a estrela do mar profundo,
Caíu do céu no meu mundo
Se eu fico longe só um tiquinho,
Um pouco mais que um segundo.
A corda quebra, o carro para,
O riacho fica fundo
A corda quebra, o carro para,
O riacho fica fundo
Não tenha medo,
Lhe ajudo na atravessia
Não sei nadar, flutuar
Basta só me acompanhar
The song "Não Tenha Medo" by Maria Bethânia is a romantic ballad that expresses the depth of the singer's love and devotion for her partner. The lyrics speak of the intimacy between the two lovers as she longs to fall asleep with his scent lingering on her clothes and the taste of his goodnight kiss on her lips. She acknowledges that he is the star of her world, and the thought of being away from him even for a short moment causes her great distress.
The chorus of the song speaks of the struggles that they may face in their journey together. The imagery of a broken rope, a stalled car, and a deep river conveys the idea of challenging situations that they may encounter, but assures her partner that she will be there to help him overcome them, even though she admits that she cannot swim. The singer pledges to be his support and asks him to have no fear when they face obstacles on their path.
Overall, the song is a declaration of unwavering love and commitment, with the singer promising to be her partner's rock through thick and thin.
