Outra Vez
Maria Bethânia Lyrics

De todos os abraços
O que eu nunca esqueci
Você foi, dos amores que eu tive
O mais complicado e o mais simples pra mim
Você foi o melhor dos meus erros
A mais estranha estória
Que alguém já escreveu
Que a minha saudade faz lembrar
De tudo outra vez....
Você foi
A mentira sincera
Brincadeira mais séria que me aconteceu
Você foi
O caso mais antigo
O amor mais amigo que me apareceu
Das lembranças que eu trago na vida
Você é a saudade que eu gosto de ter
Só assim sinto você bem perto de mim
Outra vez
Esqueci de tentar te esquecer
Resolvi te querer por querer
Decidi te lembrar quantas vezes eu tenha vontade
Sem nada perder
Você foi
Toda a felicidade
Você foi a maldade que só me fez bem
Você foi
O melhor dos meus planos
E o maior dos enganos que eu pude fazer
Das lembranças que eu trago na vida
Você é a saudade que eu gosto de ter
Só assim sinto você bem perto de mim
Outra vez
The song "Outra Vez" by Maria Bethânia talks about a past love that has left a significant impact on the singer's life. The first stanza discusses how this person was the most complicated yet simple love that the singer has ever encountered. They reminisce on the hugs, the kisses, and the emotions that they can never forget. The person was the best of the singer's mistakes, and their story was the strangest anyone has ever written. Despite all of this, the singer's longing and the memories that come with it bring everything back again.
The second stanza continues with the theme of reminiscing about the past love. The person was the most sincere lie, the most serious joke, the oldest case, and the friendliest love that the singer ever had. The person is the one memory that the singer enjoys having. The singer admits that they tried to forget but then decided to remember the love they shared as many times as they want. The final stanza ends with the person being responsible for all the happiness and good that has come into the singer's life. Despite being the reason for the singer's worst mistake, this person was also the singer's best plan.
