She singed for close to 30 years with the same group, Los Gemelos, formed by two twin brothers, Santiago López Hernández and Julián López Hernández, until the death of Santiago in the early 1990s.
Tú sólo tú

Borracha y apasionada, nomás por tu amor
Mira como ando mi bien
Muy dada a la borrachera y a la perdición
Tú, sólo tú
Has llenado de luto mi vida
Has llenado de luto mi vida
Abriendo una herida en mi corazón
Tú, tú, sólo tú
Eres causa de todo mi llanto
De mi desencanto y desesperación
The lyrics of "Tú Solo Tú" by Maria Dolores Pradera speak of a woman who is deeply in love with someone, to the point where it has become her downfall. She is constantly drunk and passionate, driven only by this love. The lyrics say that this person, "tú, sólo tú," has brought darkness into her life, opening a wound in her heart that causes her to suffer greatly. She states that this love is the cause of all her tears, of her disillusionment, and hopelessness.
The character in the song is addicted to the feeling of being in love, and despite the pain it causes her, she seems unable to break free from it. Her love for this person is all-consuming and all-encompassing, to the point where it has taken over her entire being. She cannot stop thinking about this person, and their shadow follows her everywhere she goes. She struggles to try to forget about them but inevitably falls back into the same patterns of drinking and despair.
Overall, the lyrics of "Tú Solo Tú" paint a vivid picture of the power of love and its potentially devastating effects on an individual. The character in the song is consumed by her passion, and it becomes the defining aspect of her life, for better or for worse.

I first listened to Maria Dolores Pradera in a small souvenir shop in Spain. There was a gentleman who was about 65 to 70 years old on sale. A very charismatic and benevolent character. He wrote me on a note, the name of the one who played the beautiful song: Maria Dolores Pradera. Thank you sir !
