(Honey, honey, honey, honey)
(Please let me cry, just let me cry)
Told you I was aware
I have feelings to share with you
Something's over for good
(Honey, honey, honey, honey)
(Honey, honey)
The truth
Let's say goodbye
And never back again, let me cry
I wanted you, you wanted to lie
I knew that it would happen this way, yeah
(Honey, honey, honey, honey)
(Honey, honey, honey, honey)
(Please let me cry, just let me cry) Oh...
Learning how to obey
(Honey, honey, honey, honey)
Lost my heart and my face
(Honey, honey)
My soul
Let's say goodbye
And never back again, let me cry
I wanted you, you wanted to lie
I knew that it would happen this way, yeah
Oh... oh... oh... yeah...
Let's say goodbye
And never back again, let me cry
I wanted you, you wanted to lie
I knew that it would happen this way
Let's say goodbye
The lyrics of Mariana Popova's song Let Me Cry convey feelings of heartbreak and the desire to have a moment to grieve. The repeated use of "honey" adds a bittersweet tone to the song, as it is a term of endearment that is often associated with love and affection. The singer states that they have feelings to share with the person they are addressing, but something has ended for good. Despite the end of the relationship, the singer acknowledges the love, passion, and cheerful mood they once shared with this person, indicating that they still hold fond memories.
As the song progresses, the singer talks about learning how to obey and losing their heart, face, and soul. This may be interpreted as the singer losing themselves in the relationship, and now they must learn to rebuild and rediscover who they are without the person they were with. The chorus repeats the phrase "let me cry," indicating a need for a release of emotions that have been bottled up inside. The singer acknowledges that they knew this would happen, but the pain is still there.
Overall, the lyrics of Let Me Cry convey the raw and honest emotions of heartbreak, loss, and the desire to grieve in a way that is relatable to anyone who has experienced a similarly difficult situation.

One of the best Bulgarian entries...I still like this song.Great performance,as well. What happened and it didn't qualify to the final?
@kk_1212
It sounds good to us Bulgarians and Greeks because we are Balkan people, we have a soul, but not for the mercantile Westerners who run this Eurovision contest.
This song sounds quite similar to some of Antique songs btw. :)
